Why is Benton confused about Carter being in renal failure? He's the one who operated on him when he was stabbed and they almost couldn't save the kidney...anyway love the bromance they have lol although Benton's more of a mentor :)

i love this relationship of two absolutely different men: one not afraid to show his emotions, the other all pulled together...but the happiness streaming from both of them at the fact they see each other again! love how Carter watches Benton leave and is so happy to have met yet again the person who has always cared about him and has never let him down!!!!

You know, I'm just still curious how the hell Benton would know that Carter is a)in Africa and b)married. Unless Carter sent out christmas cards from Africa with a picture of him and Kem that says "me and my wife", that makes no sense. ;)

But I love these guys and I love how uncomfortable this is, and I love that they're both clearly happy to see each other again, but neither of them really knows WHAT to say after all that time, and I love the little moment of silence right before Benton leaves, when you can see Carter in happy disbelief, and I LOVE how much is unsaid but instead communicated in their looks.
