  • hey any one i have a 3 and a half foot corn snake in a 4ft by 2ft by 2ft vivarium ...at the moment im usein a 60w head bulb n in the warm end it reaches 85f.. n in the cold end in the cave it's 77f in the day time but it dosent seem that warn in the vivarium what heat bulb wattage would be best would i be better of with a 100w heat bulb its a wood viv pm me thanks

  • Can u use a heat mat

  • i just got my corn snake yesterday. he seems well but the room temp is in the mid 80's as it is very hot lately. all i have is a basking lamp with a 50 watt bulb because the lady at the pet store said i dont need a heat mat since it is hot out. with my lamp on it is almost 90 degrees! should i leave my heat lamp on? is my corn okay with just the 80-85 degree room temp?

  • well the other lady said that they need a humity box and that was a zoo lady

  • is it true that corn snakes will fuck you up the ass while you are asleep and you wont be able to get them out

  • shes so stuppid corn snakes dont climb they borrow dont listen to anytin she says

  • @TAPS581

Corn Snakes naturally stay on the ground although they do like climbing... It is the only thing I will agree with 'Expert' village on though.

  • I'm confused one person from expet village said they don't climb and they like to burrow who do I believe

  • Instead of getting a low wattage heat lamp why not get a decent wattage one with a thermostat? Expertvillage are no experts, so it seems?

  • @theplum101 It's better to have a UTH with a thermostat instead of a bulb anyway. Snakes need belly heat to help them digest

  • wat size tank do you need

  • you proberly need 1 just bigger than the length of your snake i got a 24 inch hes about 19 - 21 inches

  • i use a heat pad and a light that gives a lil heat during the day corns do get fairly big so dont get a tiny viv my corn is like 5.8ft or soming

  • the shape of this lady's head creep the f%@ out of me

  • one vid says corn snakes dun climb much... one says that they do.....

    :(?

  • Don't listen to the other guy, Corn Snakes do like to climb.. They are considered semi-arboreal, because they can be found equally on the ground or in trees, so it would be good to have a couple branches in your vivarium.. My corn loves to climb!

  • corns are semi-arboreal and do actually enjoy climbing...

  • a climbing brach is not really necassary but yea u can put one in there. A hiding spot def.

  • Why does everyone rag the expert village videos? This one was kinda helped me out.

  • I agree

  • cause on other vids (bearded dragon,..) they really give some bad advice!! Sometime things that you absolutly shouldn't do

  • fuck you

sorry if i dont spend every little bit of my day studdying fucking snakes, actually im too busy fucking ur mum

  • loooooooooooool

  • is it true that corn snakes sleep throught the day and are awake at night

  • @mph2k7 mine does

  • this is all pure bs

  • not really, besides the climbing part. and depending on where you live they dont need a basking light, just a heat pad on low.

  • you suck

  • that was pretty good

  • it depends whare u live..i live in orange county california..so its usuakly hot..so i use a under heater,,it it gets colld ill put thewnabove 1 on 2...cornsnakes r pritty good with tempature..
