There's nothing, nothing, I mean NOTHING learned or gained from simply watching a performance using fingertips. No scripts, no message, no mention of techniques even if you dont have anything to say. Edit something along the way of captioning so as to further entertain (or enlighten) your audience. The same for ppl who present this way. Otherwise, just post music without visuals.

I see lots of vdo, and we dont know what to expect. I saw yours and thought to myself, "What would I do different". I felt robbed of 10min thinking you would show and demonstrate. Maschine is a tool, not a prop.Provide instructions to your viewers which is all I'm suggesting. My apologies if offended.

Having watched this again, I can see that he has custom mapped all of the controls on the launchpad. There's a sampler running in the background that he mapped the LP to. He's even mapped modifiers, which is when you see him hit two buttons at once. The Xone4D is just controlling Traktor, aside from the fact that the secondary sampler program is coming in through stereo audio channel 1, while Traktor sends all 4 decks through stereo channel 2 (the default functionality).

Dude, you are a badass. This is close to the same setup that I use for Live shows. So you got Live minimized here and you're triggering builds and drops from the LP? It looks like you're controlling traktor with it, which threw me off a bit until I realized you must have Live minimized. Id like to know if you did some funky programming though to control Traktor with the LP *and* the Xone4D at the same time.
