Thanks Don, nice to hear sincerity and good advice from a drummer.. Funny to hear you say "they're drunk, you're not" in reference to band mates! As a drummer I feel I get the sh** end of the stick when we have a bad gig yet I never drink before a gig or during, whilst my bandmates feel they have to.. Kids if you're listening, drink and drums don't mix, keep your head clear.

Just thought I'd add to your great video, that the Beatnik practice pad analyzes your ability to actually play on the click in real time.

I thought I was pretty dead on on until I got one of them (under 100 bucks) and started playing it. My playing improved noticeably very quickly. I would recommend to ANY drummer young or old to check one out.
