I used one of these bars on a patrol car back around 1981. Although they were really kind of a no-frills basic light bar, I found it to be a very good overall bar that was well-made and had good light output using sealed beams, mirrors and the four stationary wig-wag flashers.
Being a basic light bar it had no take-down or alley lights but was a decent light setup. Imagine going from this to the Federal Signal Aerodynic bar. We thought we were in the big-time when we got those!
I just recently bought a blue yankee dietz lightbar and I have been looking for red lenses. These lightbars are very vintage and hard to find parts, but I was wondering if the red domes were still available?
