Freerunning is freedom of movement, not big jumps or flips. Flips are under the category of gymnastics, street acro, tricking, etc. Flips are only included into freerunning as they are part of generalized movement.

in Parkour you are that pressed,you have a goal to realise although it doesn't seem so in some traceur's videos,,and freerun,i think it's a demonstratif sport,like skate boarding,break dance,,it doesn't serve the utile part,,but i like it as well,i sometimes do some tricks but when i post a video of parkour it's for parkour only ;)
