I, too, have started to learn this song as I am learning to play guitar. I see a lot of folks using a caper on the 2nd fret to match the key… however, I learned the song without a caper, taking the verse from A, F#m, E, D, A. After watching John Denver play the song as well, he doesn’t seem to use a caper either. I’ll admit, the barre F#m is a pain, which may explain the caper, but my question to you is have you tried to play it without the caper and if so, which sound do you prefer?

In the beginning your voice was too quite and maybe a bit choppy (don't know if that's the correct word to use but well). However, it got a LOT better at about 0:20. I know it's because the song is a bit quite in the beginning but thought I would just let you know what I think about it. Anyway, the song is great and your guitar cover is amazing!
