@pokeblind Did you know that Gunpei Yokei actually designed this handheld? Who is Gunpei Yokei you ask? Well, he designed the original gameboy, and gameboy pocket. He died young unfortunately. A car crash I think it was. Terrific shame that. You obviously need reminding of the difference between fact and opinion. Opinions are those gut feelings you get, and you tell people about those beginning with, "I think..." or "This looks to me like..." Didn't you learn this at school like everyone else?

@pokeblind absolutely not. Well, the designer is the same ( Gunpei Yokoi), but it's a completely different console. THis one was so much better than Game Boy, 'cause it used a 16 bit processor against the 8bit one of Game Boy color, providing it better video and audio quality. Unfortunately this console was never sold out of Japan, and this is why it had no success compared to Game boy

That system is something I don't think I've actually ever seen in person. They are fairly impressive considering it only runs off 1x AA like you say!

What's really impressive is how small and light it is. When you put in the AA it makes it feel a million tons heavier.

I think for one thing they didn't have that many great games for people to get interested in and with other hand helds Nintendo was producing, probably didn't draw much attention away from the major brands.

they are the nintendo's gameboy advance developers. these systems are more sucsessful (in japan) than gameboys them selves.
