what you guys are missing is that Republicans and the right wing in general claims to be the moral authority saying you should not have sex outside marriage and cheating is wrong.
Democrats dont generally run on that platform but the republicans do. so you cant really put anything on the democrats for cheating on their partners or whatever cause they never argue for abstinence etc.
