  • Hi, Dr. Tennent! So great to hear you speaking on immigration. You taught me just about everything I know about missiology that I didn't learn in the field. Now, I am in Bergen County, NJ - greater NYC metro area - on the spearhead of the new wave of Korean and Latino immigration, and you are giving me fresh new perspectives! Thank you! Many in our church are excited about working with Latino immigrants Come visit this mission field! Our town of Leonia is 34% Korean, 18% Latino, and 43% percent

  • I appreciate the videos--have you considered using a tripod?

  • @billwalkeremc A series of about 5 videos were filmed to kick off this channel using an iphone. Once we upload these, there will be a much higher production quality to all that we upload. Thank you for the feedback.

  • Thank you for these insights; yes, many of the immigrants to America are now or may likely become Christians, so we should not fear them. I would like to suggest perhaps another additional ingredient in a Christian perspective on immigration that may be unlike a totally secular one: we have quite a strong biblical mandate to look after "the widow the orphan and the alien," to see the face of Christ our Lord in the "least of these" to offer a cup of water, to be a neighbor to different people.

  • @GulfShoresSteven : AMEN!

  • This is a wonderful perspective! Thanks fir the insight. I am a missionary to ethnic groups here in the U.S. in the Evangelical Methodist Church. This is a very different angle! --Bill Walker
