  • whats so great about this video is when they switched partners they both skyrocketed

  • It was the 80s look at the Sweethearts, looking like extras from 'Fame'

  • Got dropkicks? 5:24

  • The double size ring was a brilliant idea.

  • so far so good nothing fancy or out of the range good match so far.

  • There is a veeeery little heelish behaviour in Manami here. Or probably I am wrong...

  • So far, an excellent match. Nothing fancy, just the basics done very well.

It's interesting though, cos, looking back at this with the knowledge of what the participants would do later, the teams almost seem the wrong way round: Toyota and Yamada would team up in arguably the greatest joshi tag matches ever (vs Kansai/Ozaki), while Shimoda and Mita would of course go on to be everyone's favourite puppies :P

  • Oh yes, and I've pointed out that irony in the description of the '96 Orca/Sweethearts match

  • 5 Stars

  • i loved that 26 girl battle royale,i had seen it before years ago...thanks MIZ!!

  • As always it's my pleasure ;-)

  • So far the match is livelier and more entertaining than the stuff put out on this side of the Pacific

Gotta ask: was the double ring set for some main event or something?

  • It was used for a couple of matches, one was actually two matches happening at once, Bull Nakano vs Yumi Ogura in one ring, and Itsuki Yamazaki vs Noriyo Tateno in the other, Nagashimark has that match. The other match was a 26 girl battle royal, that covers both rings, I just uploaded that one.
