Can anyone who has had the CCSVI operation tell me if they had severe depression from the MS prior to the operation; and if the depression lessened to any extent after the CCSVI operation? Depression is the worst symptom of all, for me.
@dovemaiden333 I don't have MS but I know that my mother has suffered from extreme depression that started not long after her diagnoses. From doing my own personal research I've come to understand that it's a fairly common symptom. She is scheduled for CCSVI in June. I will try to let you know if it improves afterward.
@dovemaiden333 So my mom had the operation at the end of May. The surgery didn't have an immediate huge transformation but there have been small but significant ones. Just in the past month she's able to walk while supported instead of being 100% reliant on the wheel chair and can bend her legs and toes for the first time in years. Within a week her fatigue disappeared almost entirely.
@dovemaiden333 Also everyone close to her has noticed that she is acting like an entirely new person. Her attitude has done a complete 180. Her outlook on everything is so much more positive probably stemming from all the new found energy she has, but I'd say it has help her depression greatly. Hope this helps!

This is just WONDERFUL! My significant other had his procedure done in Poland on the 8th of July..and I was literally blown away by his improvements that were immediate! Dr.Zamboni deserves a high medal of recoognition!! If it wasn't for him and his research people with MS and their families would be living without hope for a bright future.
