  • I am a bit of a arachnid freak and by the size and the color I'd have to guess that this is a "brown recluse". This spider can be very dangerous and cause necrosis, or rotting of the flesh. BEWARE!!!

  • itst a bannana spider they hichhike

  • right this is a common house spider next time dont use paper towel use a a4 piece of paper!!!

  • tegenaria gigantea

  • THE BIGGEST SPIDER IN THE WORLD TRAPPED UNDER THE BIGGEST GLASS IN THE CUPBOARD ,, THE INSANE SIDE OF YOU TUBE I TAKE IT...

  • You also see house spiders outside, but come to think of it i've never seen one more than a few meters from a wall or a shed, which makes me wonder if they seek a higher temperature to lay their eggs.

  • that's a classic british house spider. Very common. they hide under fridges, washing machines, floor boards and in windowsills and airbricks. They usually get about that big given a good diet, and are the biggest in the UK i think. Wolf spiders are actually smaller than house spiders and live outside, and the only reason they're thought to be bigger is that the female wolf spider looks quite big when it carries it's egg sack beneath it. House spider larger or equal legspan though, I think.

  • I would shit my self if saw one that big, infact i did not to long ago...i shit my self

  • Umm.....That's a house spider isn't it??

  • My uncle found a turantula in his bath and kept it as a pet, BEAT DAT!

  • Je hebt nog wel grotere.

  • I got bit on the foot by a giant spider and my toe has swollen up you can see two fang marks

  • @BraceNemesiz go to the hospital

  • @TheDavedizzle

but the spider is from the UK so it can't be that serious we don't really have deadly spiders do we

  • @BraceNemesiz

I heard that most spiders in the UK are poisonous but only like 3 can penetrate human skin.

  • @Astrox123

do you know the three that can

  • @BraceNemesiz

no, i don't look at spiders to see what type they are, i run the fuck away.. And researching spiders isn't my thing.

  • @Astrox123

yeah why the fuck would you research Spiders unless you are a freak

  • @tyoozy2 SO DID I!!

  • Biggest spider in the world found in london? I live in England and even I'm saying that's small! Haha, but then again if that was in my house i'd scream like a bitch and run.

  • stop torturing that poor thing,it's suffocating in there

  • seen bigger spiders in your maws pubes

  • Tegenaria Atrica - It's a typical house spider. They are venomous in the sence that it's venom is more or less like that of a wasp or a bee. If you are allergic to wasp stings or something like that it could pose a threat. They will only bite if they are crushed or cornered!

  • it looks almost like a hobo spider. but bigger. we have them here in alberta, canada

  • It's just a common house spider. And for the record, that's not that big. You need to come to the outskirts of Cheshire, in the cottages to see a real spider.

  • It is a (small) Harvestman Spider. We get them a lot, grosses my Girlfriend out when I put them in my mouth and let them cralw out and over my face. They can leave a mark if they bite as they can get big. Thanks for not killing it, I love spiders!

  • @ophorphuxake ........that's the most fucked up shit ive heard in a while lmfao your crazy dude :/

  • @ophorphuxake That's not a Harvestman spider. And even though the harvestman belongs to the arachnid family, they are not spiders!

  • @j25k = Yours is the dumbest statement I've ever heard. Spiders, are 8 legged insects.

Tarantula, Black widow, brown recluse, scorpion spiders, lynx spiders, harvestman are all SPIDER SPECIES.

ALL SPIDERS ARE 8 LEGGED INSECTS WHICH BELONGS TO THE ARACHNID FAMILY!

  • @countessdanielle666 Harvestman are NOT spiders!!!

  • @countessdanielle666 Harvestmen are not spiders. Spiders are not insects. Read a book.

  • @ophorphuxake It's a Tegenaria sp.(probably T. duellica), what we call a house spider in the UK. Harvestmen are quite different: they're not spiders at all, although they are arachnids.

  • It's just a common house spider found everywhere in the UK, harmless but fugly. I hate spiders and these can grow quite big.

  • my house is over two hundred years old and I live next to a canal in London. This is a baby compared to what I find in the house occasionally and I am an arachnophobe!

  • Oh HELL NO.

  • my teacher had one in her purse even bigger than this one and she just grabbed it on the legs and squished it WTF?!

  • that my good man.. looks like a wolf spider

  • thats not the biggest

  • if you think about it, it ONLY has big legs.. without them it would look as big as a garden spider

  • im so happy i live in eastern canada, no big spiders here no sir

  • In dominican republic we had to use a broom to kill a spider and she would resist for about a minute or so, the locals said they already saw bigger ones

  • @echalottefringante yeah :) i know what you mean but those are tarantulas

  • It's just a normal spider. it can be found in every house in the UK

  • i have seen much bigger, thumbs up if you have too

  • its a comin house spider we get them in scotland all the time, but there totally harmless

  • the number one reason im scared of spiders now days is because i watched the "alien" movies when i was a kid.... bad idea. another note. anyone watch "it" by steven king?

  • I have seen bigger

  • throw it in afganistarn

  • @lambsbotham racist sonofabitch!

  • Kill it before it lays eggs!!!!!

  • this is nothing, in australia we had a spider the size of a dinner plate in our house.

  • @championfighter12 Uk spiders are pretty lame compared to australia but remember this is a big spider to us as our country cant support huge dinner plate spiders, lol something we are very happy about. :)

  • i had the same in bath!!! nasty!

  • Im from the UK and we had a shed and we were getting rid of it a thick black spider the size of my hand crawled out of it and me and my mam literately ran a mile and a half and hit in the house for a mouth, this is nothing xx

  • tiny.

  • back to this place

  • Found a bigger one at the Marquee pub Norwich.. too big to fit in a pint glass

  • Nowhere near the biggest. A Titan-spider is basically the size of a full dinner plate.

  • its a common house spider

  • Argh.. I have arachnophobia yet i insist on watching this. :(

  • it's a wolf spider!

  • This vid needs to be 10 seconds long

  • Some people might think this is small but in most places in England we almost never see big spiders!

  • @Astrox123 Well we found a big spider in our loft and we dont know if its dead but dont want to touch it, but does anyone have any ideas on how to kill it?

  • @M1NIONM4N

Get a stick, wrap a cloth around it, pour some oil on it, set it on fire, poke the spider, keep poking the spider until it either dies or falls off and dies

  • @Astrox123 I'm from Essex and I had one hanging in my face from the ceiling whilst I was taking a piss, I didn't stop pissing though I had a pretty decent conversation with it, they're alright you know if you get to know'em.

  • @FlexxArtist

i would a fucking smashed it with a book.

jk, i'd run away screaming still pissing

  • @Astrox123 Lmao trust me the urge was almost irresistible

  • @Astrox123 i know there really big O.O but the video is just a buch of bull that no way near the biggest spider in england ive had bigger ones in my bed room!

  • @Astrox123 i know there really big! O.O but thats no way near the biggest spider in london there just lying ive had bigger ones in my bedroom.

  • i had one of these spiders in my room....12 guage came in handy.

  • it's quite a common spider....

  • i've had a spider bigger than that in my bedroom, shat myself when i saw it crawling across my floor :S

  • ewewewewewewewwwwwwwwww

  • hahahaha

  • Whoa, I had this beast in my house. Ate my lunch, drank my beer and drove off in my car!

  • thumbs up if you came here from the tobyturner vlog!!!

  • Its called a Giant House Spider, its most likely to be found at homein late summer and early autumn coz thats there mating season, and the males go out looking for a female. Their poision is not known to be harmful to humans, but their teeth can pierce through our skin, just remmember that next time you go to bed XD

  • @Brengmathew

Fuck you lol, I'm not looking forward to summer anymore lmao..

  • @Brengmathew ewww thats horrible, it has teeth!? and it bites!? :(

  • its as much dangerous as my dick

  • ive slammed my baby brothers play chair into one this size in britain took 3 swings man and the fuckers legs were still going, they always seem too pop up in the most unexptated places, i had a scrap with one this size in my mums kitchen i used the curtain pole little bastards hate them the parasites i got one off them before with my lynx aerosal can too say nizzy!

  • Ahaha when i first saw this video i thought the LIKE/DISLIKE bar was a lightsaber Lol!! XD

  • just formly known as a common house spider,, can grow quite big but they are harmless to humans as they wouldnt even consider biting you, they arent aggressive at all but just like a bit of piece and quiet, hense why when you move the glass it gets a bit crazy and moves a lot but when it gets a bit calmer it will stay put for hours

  • That's just a harmless giant house spider. It's certainly not the biggest spider in the world. Try looking at bird eating spiders for example, some are like dinner plates.

  • Kill it, burn it with fire, send it to a planet, nuke the planet,

  • @MMA3432 haha best comment i've read today

  • @MMA3432 kill yourself throw your mother on a bonfire, nuke this planet

  • UUUUGGHHH THAT BITCH IS BIG!!!!!!

  • ARANIA EXUMAI!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

  • i dont know what type it is. i DO know that this is cruel. No matter how tiny it actually is.

  • It's a Phidippus Putnami!!! Just jokin, the spider you have is actually a Tegenaria or something close to that. A Phidippus Putnami is actually a crazy looking jumping spider. I had just come from a video called "Phidippus Putnami Jumping Spider Being Cute" and saw your vid in the thumbnails section, so I checked it out. The spider in your vid is also a male.

  • I AM A GIANT SPIDER!! FEAR ME!!!! WHY ARENT YOU FEARING ME!!?

  • it's just a house spider isn't it?

  • Well, im not going for a day trip to London anymore -_- :P

  • Thats not a spider! THIS is a spider *holds up any spider from Australia*

  • Tegenaria gigantea or the common house spider. Judging by the size of the palps it's a male out looking for a mate. Pretty harmless.
