  • if only itsuki will dress up his ae85 like this one and become a good drifter.

  • Where is Tsukuba and the countersteer?

  • Nice overtake on the hairpin curve!!!!

  • I use RX-8, RX-7, Eight-Six, and Skyline

  • how to drift i can't DRift perfectly in IROHAZAKA

  • @jason01071999 The way I drift in Irohazaka is based on the older version of Initial D 4. That version is 1.2 but you won't find it nowadays. You will end up having version 1.5 for this game. In version 1.2, I can do a feint drift in Irohazaka easily on my stock AE85. You can check my video in my account. Enjoy playing this game :D The feint drift trick won't work well after Initial D 4 is patched to version 1.5 >.<

  • this game became horrible after version 3

  • I had no idea this made it overseas. I wish the arcade scene weren't dead in Canada.

  • i use the trueno 86

  • whats the best ideal car in this game anyone ?

  • why wont the machine despense me a card? and also whats the best way to drift?

  • @kinglynx Hm... may be the machine has no more cards to dispense... Drifting... hmmm... put it simply.... when you are entering a corner; tap lightly on brake, and at the same time, turn the steering wheel back to normal straight position. If done correctly, your car should not lose speed at corners.

  • your slow.....

  • Kyoko?I THOUGHT SHE DRIVES A FD,NOT AND 85!

  • @Drifter9020 Oh well, I hardly know Kyoko that time when I create this player account >.<

  • your better than me i always crash and spin out

  • @hachiroku907 stay in 4th gear if thats your case

  • HAHA BUNTA WAS A PIECE OF CAKE

  • What difficulty level is this? Try playing with difficulty level 10, it's awesome.

  • @joeboiboi1 That is just level 0....

  • @kyochan19792002 can tell... If it were 10, Takumi would have stuck on your butt for a long time for the early 2 sections

  • its a good thing htis game was in australia lol

  • @Hakuru15 : Initial D Arcade Stage 5 has reached the South-East Asia! Anyway, this game is just too awesome :D

  • nc pass on the last corner.. i wish i could still play that.. since i moved here to the U.S. from the Philippines.. i haven't been able to play and i am soo missing it.. nc sticker btw.. i have the same one on my Impreza.. =)

  • we got one on phillipines.. =) ortigas.. but japanese version .. hihi

  • in alabang town center. theres a english version of ID 4th stage. :D

  • your lucky u passed him on the last corner

  • Indeed... I am lucky ^^

  • i have a 1/2 upgraded S15

  • Hmmm... not a bad choice for your car :) Anyway, Inital D Stage 5 is already out in Japan :) I am just waiting for this game to be imported to South East Asia ^^.

  • will Initial D stage 4 and 5 import too canada ? plzz i wanna know i wanna play this game soo badly T^T

  • I have no clue if there is any import of Stage 4 and Stage 5 in Canada T.T... Stage 5 (English version) is still not in South East Asia until now

  • @xXxKh2SoraxXx ya man didnt 3 justtt come to canada last year

  • @xXxKh2SoraxXx watch my replay against Tak on Tsukuba, its on level 2 difficulty

  • car looks ugly wit da spoiler

  • to bad, youre tooooooo slow.

    come on keep on practicing

  • yeah to bad your just watching the factory demo.

  • omg i wanna play this!!!! i never seen it before

  • Initial D Arcade Stage 5 is coming soon ;)

  • lol i hear some hardcore air hockey in the background

  • noob see i play la !!!

  • first of all r u a girl and how can u choose the engine upgrade cus when i reached the level i could only choose the turbo, after that every thing else was chosen and i can no longer choose the engine mod, anyone had the same experience? although its fun to outrun a rx7 or a r32 from the start going uphill!!!

  • By the way. I am a male :).. so far, some cars will offer more than 1 type of engine change at level 7... For my AE85, I have 3 engines to choose...

  • yeah. I chose the 2nd upgrade. InitialD 5 is in jap and is hard to understand LOL

  • man my uncle he can read japanese for some reason but speak my native language

  • the engine upgrade lvl 7 wad upgrade did you choose? engine? turbo?

  • I use balanced engine for my AE85 :)

  • I like making the slowest car go in to the fastest car! Who's with me?!

  • Me :P I like to make people believe that slow car can also have some good shows in battle :P

  • lol thats how i beat him too.. I passed him on those last turns

  • This game emphasis o passing corner at high speed, so that is the winning trick ^^

  • WHERE IS THIS???

  • Singapore, Lot 1 shopping centre

  • Singaporean arcade with the basketball machine lol !

  • shiz, you cought him! ive never played this game before but your driving looked really good.

  • wow comparing initial d 5 to 4 , then turning of every corner in 4 is ridiculously scary , twisting left n right tat fast

  • u r great. AE86 is really fast here. but u can overcome it at the end. very bravo.

  • Thanks for the compliment :D

  • your tsukuba is really fast...i dunno how to brake when i came to a U corner, always knock the wall or the car will swerve away

  • Hmm.. by the way, this Initial D game that I played at that time is under patch 1.2... So much easy to control.. With patch 1.5, I also have problem to drive in Tsukuba T.T

  • lol i hear so much jitz and button smashing in the background

  • What can you expect when the Initial D machine is just next to those DDR machines :P

  • LOL!

  • Tak is quite a pain too many experienced drivers (that Tak is more difficult after that 1.5 version patch!). I only race him a few times in the 1.2 version (with difficulty level set to 0!!! T.T) Tak is a 'monster' when he is in his home-town, Akina! T.T

  • Once you practice enough in Akina, you'll pass him before the hairpins easily, I did it with a stock EVO IV, with difficulty set to 4.

  • v1.5 is easy

  • Takumi always uses the gutters and the most inside line possible- block him there and you do have a chance. Also the AE86 is not that fast on any flat surface (just after checkpoint 3 downhill on Akina)

  • you seem i can't beat tak the last time you have to race him at the end he always passes me while im going 180mph

  • -posts video response.- Creator of this video.. get the PS3 game.. <_<; so you ca stop putting your dollars in.. lol

  • Haha, thanks for the video posting XD The only thing why I still like to go to arcade for this game is being real. That is, you can hold a steering wheel, step on gas pedal and brakes :P

  • buy a steering wheel set :P

  • Well, how about buying also the entire driving seat?:P

  • kyochan, now your over doing it.. but that's possible too.. they have those setups.. expensive.. but yeah

  • Well :P That is why I do not like to plat car games with just a controller :P

  • does anyone think that the skyline r34 is good to use at this game?

  • Obvious answer :P BNR34 is one of the top choices in this map due to its large size (so large that no car can pass them when the cars are at corners), and high grip!

  • i played a lot of intial d 3 and i feel like my skyline r34 is too slipery. by the way i haven't upgrade anything in my skyline

  • Ok, so far, Initial D 3 relies on a technique called 'eraser' in order to control a car. Therefore, most of the time, your car can be quite stable. In Initial D 4, the skill that you need is good control of brake, and make sure that you have a perfect timing when you are shifting gear :) A good point to note : In Initial D 3, body parts CAN make a big difference in car performance and handling. In Initial D 4, you may not feel anything if you fit a bad body part.

  • By the way, make sure that your car has all the engine parts (not body kits)upgraded to level 7 in Initial D 4. There is no strict sequence on what to upgrade first but we usually prefer to upgrade engine first. For some cars, like AE86, you will have a choice for your level-7 engine. You can only have 1 choice and you can't make any changes later

  • do i have to buy all the engine parts or jusy the best one?

  • You need to buy all engine parts (from level 1 to 7!) For the level-7 engine, if you have more than 1 choice, choose ONLY one of them.

  • eh? Lake Akina easy?? yeah straight drive.. but can u keep close to the line?? stick to the lining? Tsukuba easiest? In this game yes.. Well in any racing game any map is easy as long as u know the physics.. Duh?!

beating Bunta wif FT.. of course!! give me Lvl 10 bunta i can beat wif mid tuned 86T.. ROFL!!

  • Then, you must be a pro -.-"

  • Uh.. you're good, except for that being just about the easiest map in the arcade version, or PS3 version. in Initial D 4 basically.

  • i thought the easiest map is Lake Akina? 0_0

  • Yup, indeed! Even after the 1.5patch, lake akina is still the easiest! :D

  • learn to use the gutters. also when you are going downhill on consequtive S's you can go straight through that area without turning! it saves so much time.

P.S all the cars are the same after being fully upgraded!! the only different one is the capp. so stop complaining about the ae85 being slower than the rest!!!

the only difference cars make are an extra 1km/h depending if its the course car or not.

i drive the RX7FC F.T and i can beat bunta in his impreza on akina in my sleep.

  • very impressive for an 85. I beat Takumi on Tsukuba with a fully tuned s14 silvia, and it was still quite difficult, so KUDOS

  • Thank you for the compliment :D

So far, I also use a 180SX with nothing except engine-level 1 upgrade to beat God-feet before. But, that time, my car manages to block that BNR34 all the way!

  • By the way, I am not sure which is better for Nissian cars. S13, S14 or S15?

  • S14

  • i have a lvl 5 only engine rx7 (ry's car) and its still not difficult to beat initial D tak...as for akina tak he was a bitch lol

  • i dont like real "car racing" Tsukuba is a also featured in D1GP DURRR

  • And...D1GP is a real racing/drifting event. Which is what he meant by "real car racing." This is an arcade game. In this game, the track is called Tsukuba mountain. Argue all you want, it's still called Tsukuba in the game. Learn your tracks, kid.

  • Haha goodjob man,

pretty sick how you caught up at the end.

I only usually use the FC FD and evo,

how can yu tell me the differences of driving the AE86 and AE85??

  • Hmmm... AE85 lacks 3 things from AE86 (according to the anime and my personal experience)

    1. Poor acceleration after gear 2

    2. Poor handling (really 'slippery' when you are trying to make your car enter a corner at high speed)

    3. Low max speed compared to all cars in the game

AE85 (even it is a stock car) has a chance to win against players when you are racing in Irohazaka Uphill Wet course :) I often use that map to win because it is the only map that poweful engines will not work ;p

  • For a Eight-Five Levin, you did pretty well. Really liked that come from behind victory at the end.

Tell me, how much does it fishtail? I use an FD so I don't feel the effect when I come out of a turn.

  • Thanks for the compliment :) Hmmm... after I made the mistake, the AE86 overtook me by around 100m. I kept on chasing until the end :S No doubt that AE85 really lacks the speed even it is fully upgrade :( By the way, I choose balance-engine for my AE85. I am not sure if the type of level-7 engine really makes any changes to a car in this game. Some players claim that all the engines are the same, except for the engine sound from exhaust 0.0

  • By the way, FD is one of the powerful cars, other than the BNR34, AP1, EVO9 and Impreza STI. Too bad, my body can't response fast when I drive FD :( I previously use AE86 but after fitting a 'wrong' engine, I pick AE85 (without serious thinking :P) It ends up that AE85 is more easy to control, compared with AE86:P Maybe, noob people need to use noob car :P

  • ??? this isnt in tsukuba. learn your tracks kid plus you would never be able to touge on tsukuba

  • In that case, what do you think the track is?! The track is labelled as Tsukuba!!!

  • dude i could prove to you what tsukuba is type it in, look for a vid of it its not this godforbidden mountain.

  • Too bad, I think that you are referring to the real Tsukuba racing track:( This is the Tsukuba mountain track (which may not exist) from Initial D comic. Blame the anime author who likes to create tracks that is a mixture of real and imaginary fact -.- Sorry to disappont those who like real car racing.

  • damn i hated this game sooo much its never gonna be better than initial d version 3 only noobs that like hitting walls and not decelarate love this game and no tst and earacer this is garbage and the ae85 get owned siclky by any car in version 3 and the times were better and it was more fun this version just sucks ass

  • lol this is like the only version where u can actually DRIFT every other version cannot drift if u havent noticed that than ur just wasting ur time

  • Curse those Japanese programmers :P In those older version, your car can hardly drift without the skill, eraser.

  • That hatchi is ugly....it looks like its gonna fly

  • you people do know that this game isn't realistic right. its just for fun.you need SPECIAL license to do this in real life legally

  • Who cares if you can get some fun from the game :P

  • Whoa

When I played him i almost blocked him all the way. I made him crash a few times lol

    Film one racing against Bunta

    My engine upgrade is 3

  • I race the level 1 Bunta a few times. Hmmm... He is a real pain to all drivers!!! One small mistake can make you lose :(

  • No but at the very end, you can catch up. He's slow at the end. Last time i was losing by 71 metres and I caught up like hell.

i managed to win by 4 metres

    =P lol

  • Where did you buy the memory card to upgrade your card? In Spain we have the Arcade but we don't know where we can buy the card.

  • wow..you are an good 85 racer..can i race with you too..cos i also drive 85..i broke alot of record in stage 3

  • I can hear the steet basketball beside... Lot 1 arcade Rox!!!

  • how to get 13000 rpm on ae86?

  • You need to choose Racing Engine when you are choosing a level-7 engine upgrade.Once you install the engine, you can't change to another level-7 engine

  • Haha, sorry:P I play in Lot 1 in Choa Chu Kang:P And I also take this video (and my another Initial D video) in Lot 1 also:P

  • no wonder!!! the ddr machine is super loud in lot 1... i play there too i always wanted to use ae85 but then i loved my STI... you looks so pro... Might want to race you next time!!!

  • this is jurong point if i'm not wrong..
