LongandGeneric: Your comment, re CarCriticAssessor flatters me. However, try though I may, my writing simply does not quite match the reaches in his or hers. Inevitably, were I to read, re-read and re-re-read your compendium of posts ... dangerously [[wink]], assimilation of your style and tics might egg me on to ape you (inadvertently of course) without really ever trying too hard! LMFAO!!!!
This guy hasn't a clue, basically an intelligent leader. What leader in history has never been corrupt? It's like breeding an intelligent mafia boss. Freedom? Then apply a population controlled state... Over-population? there is no population problem. I think he talks like a smart ass, but when it comes to outputting something intelligent, his pen stops working. Couldn't even keep his uncle's horse in the stable.
@animalnt Maybe America at the present time doesn't have a population problem but China, and India do. 1/7 of the Earth's population is in each of those countries. Besides, he wasn't talking about population, he was talking about disease control and producing the best children possible; future adults. Everyone will be smarter, healthier, and capable of making better decisions. His ideas may be a kind of extreme, but he makes sense with what he says.
@Aphex279 over-population and population problem are two completely different things. So get chris langans cock out of your mouth and research the facts yourself.
@Aphex279 1 billion is enough? are you telling me you have met 1 billion people? Obviously you have explored the world to know there isnt enough space right? no? oh i see, what level "keyboard warrior" are you?
@Aphex279 Do you think our existence really has much of an impact on earth? It's the people who think they are not crazy, which are the crazy ones. And you seem to be one of the people who think they are well informed and logical....but arent
@animalnt I don't care about impacts either. Just take a look at all those spineless rodents in India, China, Africa, USA... So just stop bullshitting that the world needs stupid 6billion rednecks that only care for themselves.
@Aphex279 a very grim attitude, quite depressing actually, that you THINK you know what others are thinking. Your sources are probably based on journalism, news and documentaries. These people only tape and cut what views they want to convey to people to make a point. Not what is really happening. Go out, start making some friends, start learning about the world, cheer up man! You seem to think every individual has nukes and the more people the less chance earth has....We are only ants.
@animalnt can you simply explain to me what is wrong with implementing birth control? C.Langan clearly stated that all of the humanity's suffering is caused because of people are abusing their freedom. If I directly kill a person its bad, but if I make 20 babies that others will have to care about is nothing wrong? What is wrong with helping the humanity to have a good superman DNA pool with no aggressive retards?
@Aphex279 More importantly enough, can you distinguish the genius from the retarded? It's not all scientists and wizards that do the inventing and innovation, by destroying everyone who doesnt comply, could be killing off a lead to a new discovery. All chris is explaining, is an ideal world for people like him, cynical and cautious, comfortable and efficient. That will definitely destroy the world faster.
@animalnt oh and humanoids that start bar fights every night and rape our daughters are lovely people that we just have to get to know better? what gives you the right to they that they have a right to live?
@Aphex279 Because they have nasty personalities doesn't resemble their intelligence. Do i really have to give examples on the subject? How do you know that the retards who do these things arent just making mistakes, and are most likely more intelligent than the average conformist in your mystical society? Or how do you know that having the angry tempered ones doesn't motivate ascension in other students? Chris is wrong, you have only put thought in the topic as a whole, its alot more complicated
@animalnt Chris is right and he pointed out that if everything will go on like this then Idiocrasy(watch the movie) is a complete reality. We are sick of this involuting world
@Aphex279 I dont understand where your arguments are at, you started at over-population, population filtering, birth control, moral rights of what you class as retarded and finally, political stance. "we are", don't you mean "i am", You do not speak for anyone but yourself, You cant talk for the world as a whole, because you have not experienced living in every country of every culture, why are you so fixated on other people and governments? Don't be like them idiot conspiracy theorists.
@Aphex279 And what better cause might that be? If we look at what they're doing all the time with pretense of trying to better our species, we can see a lot of slaughter, a lot of pain, and not much else. So, one rightly asks himself if maybe (by their logic) they're the ones who should vanish (all those experiments and no real results show lack of intelligence or/and remorse).
@mujotomi What you see: 7billion innocent hippies that deserve to live and breed until their population reaches infinity. What NWO leaders see: 7billion parasites that are sucking all the resources of this planet for no good reason, spreading death among other living creatures and just living their own selfish lives watching TV and doing many stupid things. So fuck you religious "moral" idiot, if NWO succeeds people will be able to explore space at last and live in utopia.
@Aphex279 You've got it the other way around. Those parasites you were describing in your 2nd sentence are "NWO leaders"... Do I have to tell you that those "that are sucking all the resources of this planet" are also those who'd like to "explore" space?
"So fuck you religious "moral" idiot" Are you serious, or are you just beginning to notice your lack of arguments? Where do you see my religiosity? FYI at least a part of Christian Church is deep in NWO waters, so you should decide
@mujotomi who are you with. Also don't tell me what I see when it's obvious that is what you see. Again, I'd rather see there were less people in the world or at least that they'd be arranged with more space between them.
"and live in utopia" Yes I'd like that too (if taking etymological sense of utopia into account: "no place"), but re "NWO bastards". If you ask me, they can go in the space this minute. Irreversibly. Ponder on your naivety (re your living in ideal place under "NWO").
@Aphex279 It's invalid only in invalid head - head that doesn't see the forest for the trees. Have you ever heard of something like majority "fulfiling" the will of minority? Does that mean that majority gains the products of that "sucking", or differently said, is this majority really sucking the resources? You see, the commander is more guilty of murder than one that received his order to kill. You don't distinguish a tool from its user. Hell, you don't even (want to) see the user.
@Aphex279 Arguments and IQ: I usually recommend people like you to get their hands and heads on books about logic, especially argumentation. Usually they don't appreciate it, or more likely they are unable to manage the material. I don't have problems with logical thinking - I was national champion in solving logic problems. My IQ was tested before, and I didn't receive scholarship for gifted students for no reason. You're deep in the field of argumentum ad hominem. Believe me, I know.
@Aphex279 Another thing re "utopia". At least in the sense that I mentioned ("no place"; if thinking harder, also in the sense of "ideal place wit ideal "society"") it looks like some "religious place" or let's say "heaven". Are you still sure you're not religious?
@Aphex279 You're talking like somewhere exists elaborated & bulletproof plan for "creating" utopia. Then what is it? Isn't it more logical to think that non-ideal beings can't create an ideal "place", than just the opposite? And how are you so sure that it would be ideal for every being in it (I guess your concern isn't directed in that way)? I believe I already hinted who's destroying...
@mujotomiUuh.. simply regulate the breeding freedom of 7billion humanoids for 100 years should do the trick. I'm not saying kill them like jews, simply birth control :P
@Aphex279 Yes, I agree - those "humanoids" should be stopped, but you have to identify them first (you're on the right path, but progressing in the wrong direction).
@Aphex279 You are completely off the ball on this one im afraid, don't reply back because even if population filtering started, you would be the first in line.
@Aphex279@animalnt@jed52 I'd say that is more than enough, but if I'm to believe population density data, I'd say China and India aren't as problematic as it seems (food resources etc. could change my opinion though), but we'd have to consider city population density also. Normally it's problematic when people bump into each other because of lack of space (for me it's problematic if I don't have at least 100 m to the next neighbor, which I don't). It eventually brings conflicts.
@simplycomplicated333: Ferociously ... deep, where great whites feast on fleshy limbs in chaotic murk, trusting and thrashing limbs flail, frantically grasping ... air bubbles, as burgundine [aka burgundy] turbulence envelopes masters and prey, a new order unfurls from chaos, satiating blood lust for another day, 'til the morrow.
Oh jeez! Just like everyone who was ever good at anything, society rips them apart. Doubtful anyone here has ever had a sit down with the man. How can we depict his intelligence based off of a 23 minute you tube video. That is basically like saying you can accurately measure Dolph Lundgrens I.Q. by watching the 4th installment of Rocky. I guess it's as true in high intellect as it is in sports, Mike Tyson is the best lb4lb boxer in history! "Yeah but he bit that dudes ear off!" CMON!
@robertsonrobert1: Rest assured that yours truly commands a vetted 175 score [on a 175 index: all answers correct; "Welcome to MENSA" notification etc.]. As to whether or not you would "give me $10,000.00": For conveyance via eg, a third-party TESTAMENTARY doc....ok, provided that the funds were held in an NON-REVOKABLE escrow, according to an attorney DRAFTED Terms & Conditions Agreement (paid for by you: since, you posit the challenge), approvable by me: no wiggle-room. Roll?
Okay -- I notice that studdly (sic) should read studly, except that, owing to the retro cartoon series' Duddly|Dudley DoRight impression...lol. Come'n, 'poor bastard 's been kicked around, akin to that '70's "live like a refugee ...." song's lyrics. 'Would 've likely ended-up another duc d' Orleans, w/ a massive Louis XIV chip, no? His cephalic index "off-the-page" reference -- though a 7 7/8 hat size here -- adds laughs ... but, I do like 'em; it's hard resisting jibes
Wow, if ever there was proof that IQ tests aren't accurate this guy is it!
I had never heard of this guy before watching this. Galileo, Newton, Einstein, those are extremely intelligent people. They say Darwin had an IQ of 135, how they come to that conclusion I don't know, but he advanced human knowledge and understanding more than this guy ever will.
Don't quit your day job buddy, that's the best you will ever do, nothing to contribute to society there. IQ test results mean absolutely zero.
@neal321 Just because he hasn't made any advancements in science or mathematics doesn't mean hes not as smart as the men you named. My brother's IQ is 145 and do you know what he's doing with his life? He's been in a metal hospital for the past 10 years due to paranoid schizophrenia. Its amazing what the effects PTSD has on the brain. All kinds of dormant illnesses come to life.
EVALUATION: Mr. Chris Langan posits an array of convolution. As a verified 175 out of a possible 175 IQ-Test holder [Universal IQ-Test for Military Pilots], I find that his use of phraseology eg, "present time" -- hideous redundancy: when, "presently" or "currently" suffices: terse selectivity -- bespeaks a "core fraudulence" ie, at best he rates as an ill-conceived hustler of cliche Malthusian "scarcity" ill-logic; and, at worst, his obesity paired to dyed hair, apes despotic incisiveness: DORK
@obelisktronn i think your the idiot in this situation. The fact that he's making complete sense, and you describe him as a "paradox", which is a good way to describe his thoughts, but not him self, is very atrocious. He is simply just too advanced for your kind. I'm sure your not the only one confused by this explanation of this thoughts, but if you actually learn quantum physics, philosophy, and psychology, this makes complete sense.
This guy is Hitler reincarnated, he just smart enough to have a slightly educated concept of life and reality, stupid enough to think that he has ALL the answers, and an arrogance that is out of this world. An extremely dangerious combination.
There is something that I have seen in common with all of the brainiacs of our age and bc (Socrates) it is that the more intellectual you get the more you realize that you know nothing. And an "intellectual" hopefully knows what I mean by this " nothing"
People think because he is the most intelligent person in the world that he is all-knowing. You people are only attempting affirm your own intelligence by comparing what you learned from others and critique Langan's way of thinking. Keep in mind he was self-educated. Are you going to tell me that anyone here could self-educate themselves like Langan did to himself? No, so because he did not want to become a scientist, etc, does not equal that he is an idiot.
Langan believes that just because he has a higher IQ, he deserves to guide humanity to a path of "righteousness". This is ARROGANCE! You still need leadership skills, speech skills, etc. And getting rid of "defects" in the human genome? These slight (or drastic) "defects" are how the human race evolves! Chris Langan's high IQ could be biologically seen as a "defect" Why would he want to get rid of such things?
@blahman1027 And I bet he hasn't even travelled out of the Country! How can he make generalizations about humanity by saying that they have lost their faith? There is just way to much wrong with Chris and his beliefs, generalizations, and "solutions". It's all simply arrogant rambling in a flimsy attempt to try to make this idiot look "smart"
isn't alot of IQ tests based on aquired knowledge? example.. a motor mechanic might ask a theoretical physicist to rebuild a car engine, the phsysicist never learned it and can't.. the mechanic says..it's so easy.. then the mechanic takes an IQ test.. he never finished school..and gets a low score on his IQ test..then he goes back to school, studies, gets a lot better score. mechanic was never slow or dumb, he just never learned these things. who is genius and who has just learned a lot?
Surprisingly un-deep for an allegedly uberintelligent guy. Or should I say - not surprisingly, because intelligence is not correlated with "rationality" or "deepness of thought". The guy misunderstood evolution. By eugenics he reduces possible genetic diversity of people and decreases our chances of survival as a species. Besides, I wonder how he would plan to evade the outcome of it as conducted by the Nazis. The things about "God" are not suppurted by anything other than his delusions of him.
LOLOLOL "The stupid person thinks he is as smart or smarter than the smart person; therein lies his stupidity." I could not have said it better myself Chris. Take for example a man who relies on an outdated and highly disputed test to prove that he is a genius when he's demonstrated time and time that he is mediocre at best (apathetic high school student, college dropout, and bouncer at a bar). Just keep telling yourself that you're better than the world.
@jb1262 he doesn't think he's better than the world. Your comment sounds exactly what he's talking about; a stupid person being hateful of somebody smarter (there's nothing inherently *wrong* with being dumber than someone else, don't forget that. He doesn't think so, either). Ironic that your attitude is part of the various problems he had that explains the things you used as examples for why he's not that great.
@mallow51 I think you misunderstand me. There are many people that are much smarter than me; in fact in comparison with these people I am an idiot. I could go down a list, but for now let's just mention Feynman, Einstein, and Newton as being at the top. The true measure of a man is what he does in life, and while there's nothing *wrong* with being a college dropout who went on to be a bouncer and a farmer, blaming your problems on the world because you couldn't function in it is simply foolish.
I dont belive that he has such an amazing intelligence because of the fact that he belives in God. If he had an IQ of around 200 he wouldnt belive in a fiction, made up by stupid people thousands of years ago.
First, his concept fo god is not exactly that of an average christian, more like a spinozian god.
Second, there are many people of remarcable intellect who believe in the classic christian god - I do believe it to be cognitive dissonance, but that's how it is.
@ThisOneIsTaken Well, i think if you belive in something that is obvious fiction and has no proof what so ever, youre stupid. They who belive in a god or more are generally dumber than those who dont belive in it, its accually a fact.
You really should google what spinozian god means. It's more of a matter of interpreting the data differently than believing anything. And regardless of how on average smarter people tend to be atheists, deciding someone is dumb because of that is patently ridiculous.
The soundtrack for this is so annoying. Also, is he advocating the idea of a god, or just using the idea of god hypothetically I wonder. Also, the amount of resentment in the comment section is amusing.
The issue with eugenics is that certain mutations may prove to be beneficial in the end by resulting in immunity to certain illness. I believe this man has a vendetta against those with "unfavorable traits" because his negative experiences in childhood made him bitter. Logic is one side of the human coin, with emotion being the other. As much as he would like to say his reasoning is solely based on logic, he can not split himself from his bias. This comes from someone at the bottom, IQ: 138.
Hitler had many things right. If only he was successful.. we wouldn't be slowly becoming extinct. I would vote Langan as world dictator. His first priority would be sustainability -- without a doubt.
There is nothing this guy is saying thats totally new or out there... his idea of god sounds like spinoza's (who einstein liked, i think...) and this high iq elite shit is like straight out of plato (philosopher-kings, etc). Im not saying he ripped them off, just that alot of people historically have been going down similar paths... i think hes interesting, but socially awkward and stuff his ideas wont get out unless he finds a more legitimate arena for his ideas. hes not a fraud or something
@HoRostam : Great minds think alike. So it's only logical that intelligent people often come to the same conclusions. Langan is a smart guy, but he clearly lacks the humility and education to realise that nothing what he's saying hasn't been thought of and elaborated on before by several great minds throughout history in several different cultures. His arrogance is his biggest flaw.
Problem with this is he wants us to revert essentially, at his core belief, something that goes as far back as Ancient Greece, and Rome, which is a form of selective breeding. If you want the strongest workers, and military, you only breed with the strong, and the scrawny don't get to reproduce. Their weak genes are not passed on.
It's effective, and produces the highest utility in a society. It can be moral too if you ignore that whole other branch of political philosophy called "Ethics".
@MizzDizzyLizzy79 "Music IQ", "Social IQ" etc is a bogus, created by people who weren't smart in a true/traditional meaning of the word, and thus decided to invent "different IQs" theories to feel better about themselves.
Langan claims that we are all the "endomorphic image of God". I don't see how you can make that claim when we don't even have a clear understanding of what God is, and for that matter, if "it" even exists. He may claim to have proven God through mathematics, but that is certainly impossible (since math is an abstract concept humans use to explain observable phenomena). I think most people are able to become as smart as him, it just takes a lot of hard work, sacrifice, and dedication.
deciding who can and cannot breed is a slippery slope which can lead to people deciding what races can breed and abortions of children with disabilities
I think many of you commenters are just as smart. If he spoke with inventors, engineers, Bill Gates, those people would shred him. He only has ideas, my ideas are a demension above his.
I hate to sound like a narcissist, but I went to the classes for people with high IQ's, and I knew several other kids in my classes that had been tested with similar IQ's and on the tests we were given a couple scored higher, but most all of them sound just like him when they are speaking, and sadly most did not fit in to society in the same way. My point is, in my experience with "super intelligent" people, I think this guy probably does have the IQ he claims.
Does anyone see this guy to be a little ruthless. kinda like a future hitler waiting for someone to grant him power so he can repeT THE PAST? THUMBS UP
@chopydoe you cant even grasp what he's talking about. you are the person hes talking about where he says, "...the stupid person thinks hes as smart or smarter as than the smart person."
@chopydoe He does seem a bit ruthless and a bit up himself - I don't think I'd like him as a person. I also think that his ruthlessness would result in him rushing to make changes and there would be casualties because of it - not necessarily deaths but people always suffer when ruthlessness is combined with the power to make changes that affect other people. But ruthlessness isn't necessarily evil, to be ruthlessly logical is a good thing - except when dealing with emotions.
@DrNjtp I should amend: except when excluding emotions from emotional interactions - we are emotional beings and emotions don't always adhere to logic - for example when we push those we love away from us but feel hurt and alone because of it. But for the most part ruthless logic and honesty are the best way to go about things in my opinion and experience at least. :) Just my thoughts, keep the penny hehe. (Penny for your thoughts).
@chopydoe If you have seen the first part of this upload you might (just might) come to the understanding why this guy seems to be a "little ruthless"... His whole upbringing was HELL!
@chopydoe Killing people and preventing them from breeding are to completly different things, Whats wrong with having THE perfect species of intelligence non polluting productive people.
I agree with you EyeFed! What ever his intellect, a rather poor writer could have come up with that dialog. I don't say that to imply he is not as smart as he says he is. I do think the cinematography was a weak attempt to make him look profound to us idiots out here. I would much rather he show us what he's got! Go ahead... dazzle us with that brilliance. Cut the chatter and give us some hard core mathematics. Give us art. Give us a truly inspiring treatise reality.
@cosimoto1 : Quality of writing is often more a matter of education than intelligence. Great writing skills don't pop out of thin air. They're usually the culmination of years of writing essays and papers. Langan's Cognitive-Theoretic Model of the Universe is a fairly decent model, but it's nothing spectacular and nothing new. Langan clearly is a smart guy but he lacks the education to do something useful with his intelligence and he's too arrogant to realize it.
His equation is, Those who are influenced with ignorance "Church, Gov, School etc." stop at the outward crust of things and can't comprehend such intelligence. To find GOD you must know yourself. An endomorphic image of the mind of GOD is within (TRUTH) SEEK AND YOU SHALL FIND for those who deviate from this planet of so-called reality. Doe's 2+2 really =4, this is the method of thinking for those who want more. Your not your Father but you inherited an essence of him just look in the mirror.
A bit irritating of an amaturish video depiction of the man. I don't know much about him, just started researching him yesterday. But the only thing this presentation does is overselling one guy's generic statements of what would consist of a world ideal model with music of profond harmonies and graphics trying to depict the world to be.
for what this video delivers: is pretention, science-fiction, and a narcisistic add.
I'm gonna have to find more nurrishing info on the subject elsewhere.
So how is this proof of God? I still haven't heard any proof. Just because he's smart doesn't mean he can prove 100% the existence of God. He would have to be extremely arrogant to think he really could ( and obviously he is very arrogant and full of himself)
You can say you're as smart as you want, he has no accomplishments behind his claim, just a stupid IQ test, a number that doesn't mean anything, which is why IQ tests are outdated. There are obviously people that have a higher IQ than Einstein, the reason he's famous is that he actually applied his knowledge as opposed to this bum who says "Oh man I'm the smartest person in the world" "What have you done with it?" "Nothing..."
the day my IQ was raised was when I found out my mom was the evil one all along. that may sound strange to you but believe it or not your are all living in a tyrant country and they have programmed your parents to kill your emotion and close your perception. that's why you sit at your computer wondering whats wrong with your self and are looking up the worlds smartest man. when your brain is severed from your emotion you cant tell and that's why you will never know how smart you really are.
All I hear is the vacuous rhetoric of a narcissistic socio-path. I bet there are similar incoherent ramblings written on walls of mental asylums using human excrement.
Incredible that people could simply deny or defy the truth that he is, in fact, highly intelligent. IQ is a measurement of intelligence. He ranks higher that others for the simple reason that he has greater memory, analyzing, computing, and visualizing skills. This is comparable to dogs criticizing the intellect of humans. We mock that which we do not understand.
@MrRichardsome1 So, I presume dogs are mocking us. Bad dogs, bad, I won't caress or feed them any more. I'll teach them all right. But in the mean time you should think what other reasons can someone who's mocking someone/thing have.
@mujotomi I shouldn't dignify such snide comments with a response, but here it is anyway: I did not specify my reason to be the only one. Maybe you're bitter because daddy left to get cigarettes and never came back, maybe you're over-compensating for your small genitals, or maybe you just have ass parents, were born an ass, and have always been, and will always be, an ass. But unless you actually mean something like him, and are not just a pissy teenager, then you've few rights to criticize him.
@MrRichardsome1 Haha, touchy, touchy. If someone is writing snide, teenage-like comments than this is certainly you. Oh, sorry I can see now that you really are a teenager-so much about small genitals (btw I'm very virile, but you're not my type, sorry). And what does Langan mean? Nothing more than me, that's for sure, so I can criticize him. Oh, wait a minute, and where in my comment did I criticize him? You have very poor understanding and argumentation skills, but I knew that before...
@mujotomi ...which is (you said it) the main reason why you're mocking me. Btw it doesn't matter if you didn't specify your reason to be the only one, you declared it to be the reason why those you're reffering to are mocking him. I know it'll be tough for you, but do try to understand this. I hope you'll also try to understand that by your logic Langan doesn't have many rights to criticize those who mean the same let alone more than him, but I guess in idolizing him you didn't notice that.
@mujotomi And do write back to satisfy your endless trolling needs, but don't expect another comment of mine. I've already lost my patience with people like you.
@MrRichardsome1 : As a member of Mensa, i've encountered quite a few morons with a very high IQ. IQ measures just one criterium of intelligence and while you are more likely to find intelligent people among those with high IQ, as a standalone criterium it's far from sufficient.
Nevertheless, Langan is definitely not an idiot and his Cognitive-Theoretic Model of the Universe is very close to that of eg. Vedanta Hinduism or Seth Lloyd. He just lacks the education to go beyond the superficial.
@OutOfTheBoxThinker Cognitive-Theoretic Model of the Universe is impossible to disprove making it moot, and a non subject. It is not based in actuality, and binary logic is a fucking fallacy upon a fallacy.
Freedom only becomes a privelege when people like this man, who seems to lack the conscience and moral fibre that it takes to fairly do so - impose regulations and authority. In part 1, I concluded that he was wasted talent. Now I can't help but think he's just a self-absorbed sociopath. Between the albeit eloquently expressed but naive and transparently contrived rants, and the delusions of grandeur; I wouldn't want him ever deciding any policy under which people would have to live.
he's a very smart man, I can very much relate to him. But like all other beings, not everyone is equally skilled in all intelligences, his social intelligence, e.g. his pc-ness seems a little lacking, but that's the world we live with, not the world that will be.
Idealism is a great thing that can't be achived. An ideal land will not be created, because everyone's thought of idealism is different. Adolf Hitler's Nazi Party for instants. Idealism is EVIL. You may be smart, but no one is perfected. Not even God, if he is real. Take the way "god" doesn't like homosexuals thats idealism.
The two comments are not related at all.... We can all share the same basic fundamental identity while still maintaining a great difference of intelligence....
@AllyWheels Mind you, from statistics' point of view app. half of the population is of average intelligence. Rather than orienting on voters I'd pose a condition about "rulers": able, not greedy, honest (I know it's utopia to succeed at this, but we should at least from time to time show those we're stuck with what can happen to them...). That's because it's not that important who's elected, it's always the scum who's in charge-time tested.
The IQ test is a reliable way of determining logic based intelligence only.
He seems to have a chip on his shoulder about not finishing his formal education, and life dealing him a bad hand, despite his mental gifts.
It is understandable for people who consider themselves more intelligent than others to yearn for a type of meritocracy within which they would benefit most.
He was brave and honest with his eugenics remark. Refreshing.
I absolutely think this man is a highly intellegent human being. However, I partly do not agree with him when it comes to the future breed he's talking about. Because like seriously, "training" people isn't good, it's... Ugh, I just don't like the idea. While some people may be smarter than others, it doesn't mean that they are superior to them when it comes to deserving freedom. But then I kind of agree with him because some people are simply stupid and do need to be "trained".
@LeoJelloAndAnaHearts Whether you believe it or not we all are and were trained in this or that way. So, those stupidos were trained differently than Langan, you and, if I may add, I wanted them to be. Probably you knew it before, but it's important to note that training has more effect when done in childhood...Using a word "deserving" (freedom) you imply some credit has to be concerned. Is a birth good enough credit for "freedom"?
@mujotomi If not, it's obvious that some criterion for credits has to be made, and since society "gives freedom" it means that it chooses this criterion and accordingly tells who deserve freedom more and who less. Langan puts himself in a position of society, naively thinking that it doesn't know what is good (or better) for its (ordinary) members. It surely knows what's good for its elite members. Would it put him in charge? Fat chance (if he'd be stuborn about some of his propositions).
@mujotomi Ah. I don't think I have been trained, I just don't. Okay? Don't bite my head off. I grew up amongst a bunch of really stupid people. I think I'm smarter than them.
@LeoJelloAndAnaHearts Your response confirms my claim only too well. Namely, when someone doesn't remember much of the training he received (or better said that he doesn't perceive training as a training), that is a sign that he was trained "well". I won't bite your head off. I wasn't trained that way, haha. If you grew among them, it doesn't mean that you were "trained" as they were. And that's a fact.
@mujotomi Oh, another thing. I have a strong feeling that those (for the sake of debate imaginary or rare) individuals who received very little or no training at all would resent not being trained (enough), when observing well trained, so called succesful and worshipped people, and all they have is a prison of some kind.
@mujotomi Well. Mujotomi. In the entirety of 14 year old life I have been misunderstood and people have not believed me and yeah, I don't really expect it to be any different here.
@LeoJelloAndAnaHearts It's not about you telling the truth or not, it's about you perceiving it, so you're wrong about misunderstanding/believing. Maybe there's the significance of that so many people misuderstood and didn't believe you. If you can't perceive (or look it up in literature) we've been trained, it's nothing I can do about it to change your mind.
To really validate this man's intelligence, silently argue with the idea's hes putting forward, try and see faults in them. You'll notice, at least i did, that he is the most right (most being the greatest correctness feasible within the human constructs of sociability) possibly I've seen. If that doesn't scream intelligence I don't know what does. Take my point as an opinion, but think, this kind of intelligence doesn't span one sector of thought.. It's a combination of all explaining reality.
no matter if he has high IQ or not, this man is smart. If u dont belive me, listen to what he says and what hes meanings are. This is a smart man, who got hes vision on the world around him, quite figured out.

Couldn't even keep his uncle's horse in the stable.
animalnt 2 weeks ago
@animalnt Maybe America at the present time doesn't have a population problem but China, and India do. 1/7 of the Earth's population is in each of those countries. Besides, he wasn't talking about population, he was talking about disease control and producing the best children possible; future adults. Everyone will be smarter, healthier, and capable of making better decisions. His ideas may be a kind of extreme, but he makes sense with what he says.

@Aphex279 a very grim attitude, quite depressing actually, that you THINK you know what others are thinking. Your sources are probably based on journalism, news and documentaries.

Aphex279 1 week ago
@Aphex279 More importantly enough, can you distinguish the genius from the retarded? It's not all scientists and wizards that do the inventing and innovation, by destroying everyone who doesnt comply, could be killing off a lead to a new discovery. All chris is explaining, is an ideal world for people like him, cynical and cautious, comfortable and efficient. That will definitely destroy the world faster.

If we look at what they're doing all the time with pretense of trying to better our species, we can see a lot of slaughter, a lot of pain, and not much else. So, one rightly asks himself if maybe (by their logic) they're the ones who should vanish (all those experiments and no real results show lack of intelligence or/and remorse).
mujotomi 5 days ago
@mujotomi What you see: 7billion innocent hippies that deserve to live and breed until their population reaches infinity. What NWO leaders see: 7billion parasites that are sucking all the resources of this planet for no good reason, spreading death among other living creatures and just living their own selfish lives watching TV and doing many stupid things. So fuck you religious "moral" idiot, if NWO succeeds people will be able to explore space at last and live in utopia.
Aphex279 5 days ago
@Aphex279 You've got it the other way around. Those parasites you were describing in your 2nd sentence are "NWO leaders"... Do I have to tell you that those "that are sucking all the resources of this planet" are also those who'd like to "explore" space?
"So fuck you religious "moral" idiot" Are you serious, or are you just beginning to notice your lack of arguments? Where do you see my religiosity? FYI at least a part of Christian Church is deep in NWO waters, so you should decide
mujotomi 4 days ago
@mujotomi who are you with. Also don't tell me what I see when it's obvious that is what you see. Again, I'd rather see there were less people in the world or at least that they'd be arranged with more space between them.
"and live in utopia" Yes I'd like that too (if taking etymological sense of utopia into account: "no place"), but re "NWO bastards". If you ask me, they can go in the space this minute. Irreversibly. Ponder on your naivety (re your living in ideal place under "NWO").
mujotomi 4 days ago
@mujotomi Invalid argument found - "few people sucking more resources that billions of parasites". You sir need more IQ to solve math problems.
Aphex279 4 days ago

Are you still sure you're not religious?
mujotomi 4 days ago
@mujotomi utopia is simply an idea that will never be fulfilled if no one stops humanoids from destroying everything just for their own pleasure.
Aphex279 4 days ago
@Aphex279 You're talking like somewhere exists elaborated & bulletproof plan for "creating" utopia. Then what is it? Isn't it more logical to think that non-ideal beings can't create an ideal "place", than just the opposite? And how are you so sure that it would be ideal for every being in it (I guess your concern isn't directed in that way)? I believe I already hinted who's destroying...
mujotomi 3 days ago
@mujotomiUuh.. simply regulate the breeding freedom of 7billion humanoids for 100 years should do the trick. I'm not saying kill them like jews, simply birth control :P
Aphex279 3 days ago
@Aphex279 Yes, I agree - those "humanoids" should be stopped, but you have to identify them first (you're on the right path, but progressing in the wrong direction).
mujotomi 3 days ago
@Aphex279 You are completely off the ball on this one im afraid, don't reply back because even if population filtering started, you would be the first in line.
animalnt 1 week ago
@Aphex279 @animalnt @jed52 I'd say that is more than enough, but if I'm to believe population density data, I'd say China and India aren't as problematic as it seems (food resources etc. could change my opinion though), but we'd have to consider city population density also. Normally it's problematic when people bump into each other because of lack of space (for me it's problematic if I don't have at least 100 m to the next neighbor, which I don't). It eventually brings conflicts.

You still need leadership skills, speech skills, etc. And getting rid of "defects" in the human genome? These slight (or drastic) "defects" are how the human race evolves! Chris Langan's high IQ could be biologically seen as a "defect" Why would he want to get rid of such things?

Surprisingly un-deep for an allegedly uberintelligent guy. Or should I say - not surprisingly, because intelligence is not correlated with "rationality" or "deepness of thought". The guy misunderstood evolution. By eugenics he reduces possible genetic diversity of people and decreases our chances of survival as a species. Besides, I wonder how he would plan to evade the outcome of it as conducted by the Nazis. The things about "God" are not suppurted by anything other than his delusions of him.
TheSupersojer 2 months ago
LOLOLOL "The stupid person thinks he is as smart or smarter than the smart person; therein lies his stupidity." I could not have said it better myself Chris. Take for example a man who relies on an outdated and highly disputed test to prove that he is a genius when he's demonstrated time and time that he is mediocre at best (apathetic high school student, college dropout, and bouncer at a bar). Just keep telling yourself that you're better than the world.
jb1262 3 months ago
@jb1262 he doesn't think he's better than the world. Your comment sounds exactly what he's talking about; a stupid person being hateful of somebody smarter (there's nothing inherently *wrong* with being dumber than someone else, don't forget that. @mallow51 I think you misunderstand me. There are many people that are much smarter than me; in fact in comparison with these people I am an idiot. The true measure of a man is what he does in life, and while there's nothing *wrong* with being a college dropout who went on to be a bouncer and a farmer, blaming your problems on the world because you couldn't function in it is simply foolish.

My point is, in my experience with "super intelligent" people, I think this guy probably does have the IQ he claims.

chopydoe 4 months ago
@chopydoe you cant even grasp what he's talking about. you are the person hes talking about where he says, "...the stupid person thinks hes as smart or smarter as than the smart person."
rexrubensteinstudios 4 months ago
@chopydoe He does seem a bit ruthless and a bit up himself - I don't think I'd like him as a person. I also think that his ruthlessness would result in him rushing to make changes and there would be casualties because of it - not necessarily deaths but people always suffer when ruthlessness is combined with the power to make changes that affect other people. But ruthlessness isn't necessarily evil, to be ruthlessly logical is a good thing - except when dealing with emotions.
DrNjtp 4 months ago
@DrNjtp I should amend: except when excluding emotions from emotional interactions - we are emotional beings and emotions don't always adhere to logic - for example when we push those we love away from us but feel hurt and alone because of it. But for the most part ruthless logic and honesty are the best way to go about things in my opinion and experience at least. :) Just my thoughts, keep the penny hehe. (Penny for your thoughts).

Give us a truly inspiring treatise reality.
cosimoto1 4 months ago 17

This is really stupid...
You can say you're as smart as you want, he has no accomplishments behind his claim, just a stupid IQ test, a number that doesn't mean anything, which is why IQ tests are outdated. There are obviously people that have a higher IQ than Einstein, the reason he's famous is that he actually applied his knowledge as opposed to this bum who says "Oh man I'm the smartest person in the world" "What have you done with it?" "Nothing..."

urcritic 4 months ago
Incredible that people could simply deny or defy the truth that he is, in fact, highly intelligent. IQ is a measurement of intelligence. He ranks higher that others for the simple reason that he has greater memory, analyzing, computing, and visualizing skills. This is comparable to dogs criticizing the intellect of humans. We mock that which we do not understand.
MrRichardsome1 5 months ago 5
@MrRichardsome1 So, I presume dogs are mocking us. Bad dogs, bad, I won't caress or feed them any more. I'll teach them all right. But in the mean time you should think what other reasons can someone who's mocking someone/thing have.
mujotomi 4 months ago
@mujotomi I shouldn't dignify such snide comments with a response, but here it is anyway: I did not specify my reason to be the only one. Maybe you're bitter because daddy left to get cigarettes and never came back, maybe you're over-compensating for your small genitals, or maybe you just have ass parents, were born an ass, and have always been, and will always be, an ass. But unless you actually mean something like him, and are not just a pissy teenager, then you've few rights to criticize him.
MrRichardsome1 4 months ago
@MrRichardsome1 Haha, touchy, touchy. If someone is writing snide, teenage-like comments than this is certainly you. Oh, sorry I can see now that you really are a teenager-so much about small genitals (btw I'm very virile, but you're not my type, sorry). And what does Langan mean? Nothing more than me, that's for sure, so I can criticize him. Oh, wait a minute, and where in my comment did I criticize him? You have very poor understanding and argumentation skills, but I knew that before...
mujotomi 4 months ago
@mujotomi ...which is (you said it) the main reason why you're mocking me. Btw it doesn't matter if you didn't specify your reason to be the only one, you declared it to be the reason why those you're reffering to are mocking him. I know it'll be tough for you, but do try to understand this. I hope you'll also try to understand that by your logic Langan doesn't have many rights to criticize those who mean the same let alone more than him, but I guess in idolizing him you didn't notice that.
mujotomi 4 months ago
@mujotomi And do write back to satisfy your endless trolling needs, but don't expect another comment of mine. I've already lost my patience with people like you.
MrRichardsome1 4 months ago
@MrRichardsome1 : As a member of Mensa, i've encountered quite a few morons with a very high IQ. IQ measures just one criterium of intelligence and while you are more likely to find intelligent people among those with high IQ, as a standalone criterium it's far from sufficient.
Nevertheless, Langan is definitely not an idiot and his Cognitive-Theoretic Model of the Universe is very close to that of eg. Vedanta Hinduism or Seth Lloyd. He just lacks the education to go beyond the superficial.
OutOfTheBoxThinker 3 months ago 6
@OutOfTheBoxThinker Thank you for responding thoughtfully. I've taken this into consideration.
MrRichardsome1 3 months ago

DHScherocha 5 months ago
he's a very smart man, I can very much relate to him.

In one instance :
"We are all the same. We all share a basic fundamental identity with each other."
but then
"Only the smart should be allowed to breed & have children."
You don't need an IQ of 205 to see the contradiction between those 2 statements.
JSavic 5 months ago
@JSavic
The two comments are not related at all.... We can all share the same basic fundamental identity while still maintaining a great difference of intelligence....
XtCcHoSeN 5 months ago

He never said "Only the smart should be allowed to breed & have children."
Why are you making shit up?
He said "People who wanted to have children would apply to make sure they had no diseases" Which would be a very smart thing to do.
MJFslovak 5 months ago
Pretty controversial stuff.
Persons of lower intelligence should not be allowed to vote, or breed, except by the consent of the higher IQ ruling class.
And remember: Approximately half of the population are of below average intelligence! (any population).
AllyWheels 5 months ago
@AllyWheels Mind you, from statistics' point of view app. half of the population is of average intelligence. Rather than orienting on voters I'd pose a condition about "rulers": able, not greedy, honest (I know it's utopia to succeed at this, but we should at least from time to time show those we're stuck with what can happen to them...). That's because it's not that important who's elected, it's always the scum who's in charge-time tested.
mujotomi 5 months ago
The IQ test is a reliable way of determining logic based intelligence only.
He seems to have a chip on his shoulder about not finishing his formal education, and life dealing him a bad hand, despite his mental gifts.
It is understandable for people who consider themselves more intelligent than others to yearn for a type of meritocracy within which they would benefit most.
He was brave and honest with his eugenics remark. Refreshing.

LeoJelloAndAnaHearts 5 months ago
I absolutely think this man is a highly intellegent human being. However, I partly do not agree with him when it comes to the future breed he's talking about. Because like seriously, "training" people isn't good, it's... Ugh, I just don't like the idea. While some people may be smarter than others, it doesn't mean that they are superior to them when it comes to deserving freedom. But then I kind of agree with him because some people are simply stupid and do need to be "trained".
LeoJelloAndAnaHearts 5 months ago
@LeoJelloAndAnaHearts Whether you believe it or not we all are and were trained in this or that way. So, those stupidos were trained differently than Langan, you and, if I may add, I wanted them to be. Probably you knew it before, but it's important to note that training has more effect when done in childhood...Using a word "deserving" (freedom) you imply some credit has to be concerned. Is a birth good enough credit for "freedom"?
mujotomi 5 months ago
@mujotomi If not, it's obvious that some criterion for credits has to be made, and since society "gives freedom" it means that it chooses this criterion and accordingly tells who deserve freedom more and who less. Langan puts himself in a position of society, naively thinking that it doesn't know what is good (or better) for its (ordinary) members. It surely knows what's good for its elite members. Would it put him in charge? Fat chance (if he'd be stuborn about some of his propositions).
mujotomi 5 months ago
@mujotomi Ah. I don't think I have been trained, I just don't. Okay? Don't bite my head off. I grew up amongst a bunch of really stupid people. I think I'm smarter than them.
LeoJelloAndAnaHearts 5 months ago
@LeoJelloAndAnaHearts Your response confirms my claim only too well. Namely, when someone doesn't remember much of the training he received (or better said that he doesn't perceive training as a training), that is a sign that he was trained "well". I won't bite your head off. I wasn't trained that way, haha. If you grew among them, it doesn't mean that you were "trained" as they were. And that's a fact.
mujotomi 5 months ago
@mujotomi Oh, another thing. I have a strong feeling that those (for the sake of debate imaginary or rare) individuals who received very little or no training at all would resent not being trained (enough), when observing well trained, so called succesful and worshipped people, and all they have is a prison of some kind.
mujotomi 5 months ago
@mujotomi Well. Mujotomi. In the entirety of 14 year old life I have been misunderstood and people have not believed me and yeah, I don't really expect it to be any different here.
LeoJelloAndAnaHearts 5 months ago
@LeoJelloAndAnaHearts It's not about you telling the truth or not, it's about you perceiving it, so you're wrong about misunderstanding/believing. Maybe there's the significance of that so many people misuderstood and didn't believe you. If you can't perceive (or look it up in literature) we've been trained, it's nothing I can do about it to change your mind.
mujotomi 4 months ago
To really validate this man's intelligence, silently argue with the idea's hes putting forward, try and see faults in them. You'll notice, at least i did, that he is the most right (most being the greatest correctness feasible within the human constructs of sociability) possibly I've seen. If that doesn't scream intelligence I don't know what does. Take my point as an opinion, but think, this kind of intelligence doesn't span one sector of thought.. It's a combination of all explaining reality.
