@kwanger72 Not a Mayer song. Sounds like he's singing the Emmylou Harris version. The next verse would have been 'Yeah I like the heat of your body lay'n under me.......'. Although even Emmylou's version isn't the original. Check out Daniel Lanois (not to be confused with Dan Layus). But even though I think Emmy may have the best take on it Dan Layus of Augustana has a VERY close 2nd, so take a look at his stripped version. LOVE this song hope you did too. It has a great beat.

1. Look at the songs he chooses to cover. They are undeniably awesome to begin with and show great bloody taste.

2. Both songs were incredibly well played not only by him but by the entire band. "Where Will I Be" relies on a great drummer to sound as good as it did here.

3. His voice is excellent in both songs and he has a great vocal quality that really lends each song a personal touch. This touch makes the music sound distinct emotionally and sonically from the original.

4. The guy is good.

@jorihaar martijnsegersmusic is right. Capo is on the 10th fret. He's just playing a G-shape and an Em shape and arpeggiating the lower 4 strings while palm muting them at the bridge. Throw some nice delay on it and presto ;) For Where Will I Be the key stays the same but it seems like a C shape is thrown in there also. Good luck!
