@Stonemansteve Asshole, Perito Moreno Glacier is constantly growing. The growing ice pushes against the shore of the lake and the flow of water causes the formation of an ice bridge, that every 4 or 5 years collapses. This has happened since the glacier was discovered, it is totally normal and yet unique in the world.

Actually, I suspect from the cheering that this is the Perito Moreno glacier, and this is a normal event. Just a guess but that's the one people swarm out to watch when it crosses the lake. That glacier is not in fact getting any smaller.

there are not any more cases in extreme weather. glaciers are growing actually but many of the parts you look at are shrinking. ill give you an example Greenland's costal ices have been melting. this is true but what the dont tell you is 80 percent of the glacier is above 5000 feet. this part of the glacier is actually growing. It was named greenland for a reason can you guess why?
