hahha, so funny... not definately NOT rear breaking, since he is not riding a SuperMoto... this, sir, is a pure breaking slide which is caused by the weight moving to the front and so the rear is barely touching ground... rear brake just for stabilisation... so the rear does not pass the front ;->

I have an 07 R1 and the one on this movie is either an 07 or an 08 (minor changes).

I am not sure that this is Rossi riding, but I have to disagree with the comment that he makes about the consatnt power (like linear accelraeation). The bike sufferes in low rpm, but it becomes a monster when you hit around 10k rpm.

The handling and braking of the bike is exceptional thought as Rossi states.

Man, the feeling when you hit around 11k rpm with 2nd gear is like heaven...

He kneels and grabs the right foot peg before every ride. It is unknown if he is praying, paying respect to a fellow rider, or just getting in the right frame of mind for the ride. One of many pre-ride rituals.

He has a great feeling qith the bike, so much that he treats it as a person, becasue she is the one who has to keep him safe and maybe winner: he just becomes one thing with the bike, and he does it ever time he sits on a bike in a circuit.
