Fly Fishing New Jersey, Summertime nymphing on the Pequest

Just below you about 30 feet my brother caught a 25 inch rainbow. I caught at least 50 fish right by that rock. Nice spot not too far from the bridge.

this was my dads favorite fishing spot, we use to tie our own fly's for this river and even sometimes our own patters. most of them caught something. my favorite fly fishing plce is the kenlockwoodgorge (: ive ben fly fishing for atleast 3 years now im 15 :P

last summer the fishing was excellent because we got so much rain that the rivers didnt really get a chance to warm up. they were always nice and cool, i caught over 150 trout last year. it was excellent.
