Great video. I'm an American stationed in England. I have owned 2 Minis...both 1982 Mayfairs. Great little cars. However I sold them off and bought a US Spec R56 MINI Cooper S. I love it, it is great and fun. Before this I owned a '99 Mustang GT. The MINI is every bit as cool. I'd like to add that ALL post 1994 Minis were built by Rover via funding from BMW. BMW is even printed in the owners manuals for those post '94 Minis. Stop the fighting...

i love this vid and it says what the mini is FANTASTIC but i think its should be more for the classic as its 10 years old the bmw mini and i think its a little american and everyone knows the mini is british and the americans banned it because of its safety

Allthough I like the looks of the New MINI, it will never ever really replace the original..sorry for all owners out there.

Just a the New Beetle is but a monster of a replacement over the old.

Please don't knock the NEW MINI. I had the classic MINI and ive got a new MINI COOPER. It drives better, is safe, brilliant on the motorway, fast, 50mpg, BMW quality and full of character - it's like having a pet do! The old Mini was lovely, but the NEW MINI is simply FANTASTIC. BMW have done a great job - you hould be thankful ROVER didn't get their hands on it!

I think all the purists need to relax! Jeez people, it's called change and it happens regardless of how much you want to fight it. accept the new MINI and relish the old...above all coexist and celebrate both with equal enthusiasm. The old Mini's are in every way inferior to the new MINI but he new MINI will never have the direct impact of the first MIni. That is the truth!

I totally agree with the others that MINI is not a Mini. Different people, different car, dispite the fact that some of the 'classic' owners have one for their work. They keep having feelings for the 'real' thing...But different people different opinions....that is why al minis are the same, but their not, just only take a look at what was on the IMM in Birmingham, classic rules btw.....

Obvious that a MINI will never be a Mini, but I think it's a beautiful hommage to it. It's a hell of a car, with a very unique spirit, that stands out for a different tipe of living.

I have a MINI and I love it, but I would love to have a classic one too.

I think that people should be flattered that MINI stills on people's hearts and lives!
