recently ive been through so much shit physically & emotionally im only 15 but ive been through so much more than people my age ive had a bad eating disorder & ALOT of anxiety that lead to depression i went to church one day & i remember the mass perfectly it the main message that day was like dont be afraid let God guide you i remember crying so hard all the anxiety had gotten to me i such faith in God now & i feel really close to him now it feels like when nobody else was there God was
God's presence always makes me feel like I'm actually living for the first time and although I stumble in my walk with him I know he is with me every place I go

To be born again means that you are a new creation, dead to the old self (sinful and separated form God by this sin) and now alive in Christ with a joy, peace n love we cannot contain inside! When you accept Christ to dwell in you you are set free! ~continued~ after trying for over an hour I gave up and called my youth leader, I told him what I'd been trying to do and he was shocked, he told me I was being selfish and i realize that now. My parents were very angry and disappointed in me. And it took a long time to get better. In that time I gave up on God because I thought he wasn't there, in hindsight now I realize that he was with me the entire time, making sure I was safe. I praise God every day that I didn't succeed in kiling myself.

I was born and raised strictly christian. I made the decision to leave my ignorant close minded church to join a new one, where i became the guitarist for the band and became a youth leader. I loved being in church and 'doing gods will' I honestly believed in god. But over time, I started to realize I was living a lie. I still enjoy listening to Third Day and I still love this song. I remember what it felt like to be born again. I really thought I had something to devote myself to.

I know its hard not to lose faith in God when you lose faith in your church. But is it possible that you placed your belief in the traditions of your faith and not in God Himself? Only you can answer that question. I pray God will reveal Himself to you so that your faith will be based on relationship and not religion. He is real and He loves you.
@84sheepdawg not everyone who calls themselves a Christian is living in the way He intended. There are plenty of people who take Gods word too far. Don't let the way other people teach or preach make you lose your faith in Him. Through him we can all be saved, be born again. @loveEks what no one is understanding... i was raised in a christian home, in a church. i left my home church because i was tired of seeing how everyone else lived. i joined another church i liked more, my decision, i wanted more of God and was a firm believer. I'm just saying, I wasted my life on it, wish I never would have. I was happier with that false hope, but what good is being happy with something that isn't real? i just found God myself, this month. 38 yrs & nver have gone to church, child of an atheist and a mother who believed never been to church. I tried it, i prayed and it worked and filled me with such peace and goodness. I still have alot to learn but i am so happy to know that He is watching over me and my family and my little one will be raised knowing Him too! awesome how i feel this month than ever in my life..I am a total believer i just wish it didnt take me so long to figure it out!!

@buttergirlification I had always believed in a creator and been to church my whole life, but I challanged God if he was real to show me and he did. I was hooked on that white devil also and he gave me a choice cocaine or him. I chose him and Ive been clean from that ever since.

There are days that i feel so close to God its almost like i can feel his very breath upon me. Then there are days i feel so lost and discouraged, defeated, and once again feel so far from him. I know that even when i am at my lowest I imagine him and his angels all around me praying for me to use my faith. Faith has to be such an absolute in our life's as a child of God's, that when we feel we may never rise again we know in our hearts that we will.

~continued~ after trying for over an hour I gave up and called my youth leader, I told him what I'd been trying to do and he was shocked, he told me I was being selfish and i realize that now. My parents were very angry and disappointed in me. And it took a long time to get better. In that time I gave up on God because I thought he wasn't there, in hindsight now I realize that he was with me the entire time, making sure I was safe. I praise God every day that I didn't succeed in kiling myself.

When I was eleven my grandma died- she was one of the reasons I knew God was real- her death tore me apart. I couldn't understand why she had to go, I was ngry and bitter towards everyone. I have known God almost my entire life,or so I thought. It took me loosing everything over the past 3 years for me to realize just how much he loves me. @winningx13 i think God is speaking to my husband thru our little boy, i always read him a story and say prayers and put him to bed, i was at a meeting and my husband read the story and then said good nite, my son, says "dad we have to say our prayers and totally showed him to clasp his hands together and he said 'dear God & prayed." so adorable my husband said it was one of the most beautiful things he experienced w/ him....i said well see what you are missing, one day he will come around

When my dad went to jail every time I would think of him this song would come on or pop into my head and it made me believe that I will get through. @kryptonx13 Honey, your salvation is between you and God. The Bible tells us that "For whosoever shall call upon the name of the Lord shall be saved." Romans 10-13. So if you wish to be saved, if you wish to be born again, then you call on the name of the Lord and you will be saved. It doesn't matter what church you attend, it matters what's in your heart. I was born and raised strictly christian. I made the decision to leave my ignorant close minded church to join a new one, where i became the guitarist for the band and became a youth leader. I loved being in church and 'doing gods will' I honestly believed in god. But over time, I started to realize I was living a lie. I still enjoy listening to Third Day and I still love this song. I remember what it felt like to be born again. I really thought I had something to devote myself to.

@84sheepdawg It takes a lot of courage to speak your heart like you have. I hear the sincerity in your words and I pray you can hear it in mine. I know its hard not to lose faith in God when you lose faith in your church. But is it possible that you placed your belief in the traditions of your faith and not in God Himself? Only you can answer that question. I pray God will reveal Himself to you so that your faith will be based on relationship and not religion. He is real and He loves you.

Don't let the way other people teach or preach make you lose your faith in Him. Through him we can all be saved, be born again. @loveEks what no one is understanding... i was raised in a christian home, in a church. i left my home church because i was tired of seeing how everyone else lived. i joined another church i liked more, my decision, i wanted more of God and was a firm believer. I'm just saying, I wasted my life on it, wish I never would have. I was happier with that false hope, but what good is being happy with something that isn't real? This song brought me to tears.. reminds me of when i became born again.. God changed my life radically from that day onwards . . i just found God myself, this month. 38 yrs & nver have gone to church, child of an atheist and a mother who believed never been to church. I tried it, i prayed and it worked and filled me with such peace and goodness. I still have alot to learn but i am so happy to know that He is watching over me and my family and my little one will be raised knowing Him too! awesome how i feel this month than ever in my life..I am a total believer i just wish it didnt take me so long to figure it out!!

The comments from a few days ago brought real tears to my eyes! Not because I feel threatened or from someone making fun of believer's faith. What makes me sad is that this world has become such a place of hatred and sadness. I have been going through so much loneliness in this life, but I'm not worried about that at all. Jesus Christ is always with me and He loves me so much. He forgives me and is always with me. The earthly life is just temporary. I can't wait to leave this world one of these days and go Home to Heaven to be with Jesus for all eternity!!! I grew up in a United Church as a Kid, I knew the glorious storys about Jesus before I gave my life to the Lord..
I chose to be an Atheist in my Teen yrs, only to find out Life without Jesus is a life without love..

I used to be skeptical about Christianity, then after reading the Bible, listening to the Bible (I bought an audio version of the Bible) and making an effort to go to church more, I can say that I have given up my pride and surrendered my life to God through our Lord Jesus Christ.

wow....its so sad how many people there are who arent christians and who are athiests but why??? i mean who do you really think created us? monkeys o.O..... NO God did!!!! but i just dont get how you can sit there and say God is just a man or God doesnt exist when he does and hes the one who created us!!!!! and when you die you have 1 of 2 choices, to live an eternal life with God our Savior in heaven or go burn in a fire in Hell....thats your choice....but if i were you i wuld choose wisely...

If you don't believe in Jesus and refuse to accept that He is the Lord and Savior please respect us who do so. I have to admit I have nothing to miss from this life which I add, is just temporary. I was saved and redeemed and is what I believe in. If you decide not to believe that is you who decide but respect those who do so. And if you are going to keep making videos favorite to attack believers please stop it. We have the free-will to choose what we want to believe in, please respect.

There are days that i feel so close to God its almost like i can feel his very breath upon me. Then there are days i feel so lost and discouraged, defeated, and once again feel so far from him. I know that even when i am at my lowest I imagine him and his angels all around me praying for me to use my faith. Faith has to be such an absolute in our life's as a child of God's, that when we feel we may never rise again we know in our hearts that we will.

I know my faith should be stronger so that I shouldn't fall away from God, but I know even when I don't feel close to him He is always looking after me and will never let me go. It is so awesome that we have such a great God :) I can't even begin to imagine what He has done for us..the only thing I can do is love him with all my heart and PRAISE him! Love this song <3

Dearest JazzyEll ~ All you need to do is pray **from your heart** ~ Lord Jesus, please forgive me of all of my sins, and come into my life. He knows all hearts, and if one is truly sincere, He is faithful to forgive you of all of your sins...Do you own a Holy Bible? That IS the only Book you will ever need to survive while on this earth...don't believe anyone else who comes to you with anything else. Whatever they're selling, it IS NOT for a true child of the Most High God.

I never really thought about Jesus dying on the cross for ME. I knew He did but I never really thought about it. One day I looked at my 2 year old son and realized He died for him and I just started crying. This song reminds me to be a better Christian everytime I hear it.
