As a former member of the Sierra Club, I dropped out after the true ecologists in the organization tried to put back on the Clubs platform combating the #1 factor for Environmental degradation, Wildlife declines & GHG production. By using scare tactics, the segment of the leadership of the club who wanted to march in lockstep with their DC Demovicks friends won & the Environment & Wildlife lost and the #1 factor for environmental degradation not addressed which means the Sierra Club is a fraud

The Sierra Club accepted over U.S.$100M (from David Gelbaum), to NOT discuss immigration and overpopulation. They are not a credibly unbiased source. The only real, workable long-term environmental strategy is a curb on immigration to develped countries and funding family-planning initiatives in the third world. Overpopulation is the primary problem.
