We lose Kurt Coleman but there is top tier young talent hungry to step in. Anderson Russell's gone but Hines played better than him anyway. @jgatorful OSU may be 0-9 against the SEC in bowl games but there's a team in the Big Ten who dominates the entire SEC. They've beaten the powerhouses this decade inculding the SEC champs back in 2000.

terrelle pryor (OSU Starting QB) went to school in my home town which is very very small called Jeannette Pennsylvania. i remember going to his highschool games. he would have 200 rushing yards a game, and over 200 pass yards every game. they would dominate every game with over 55 points in 9 out of 10 games

@barrett314 Ohio St also had missed opportunities, Ohio State settled for a field goal when they had the ball 1 & goal inside the 5 yard line. Terrelle Pryor missed Dan Sazenbacher for a wide open touchdown another time, instead OSU settled for a field goal. In fact Ohio St didn't even capilize on the Oregon fumble, TP went and threw an int, so Oregon got they ball back with great field position, and didn't even pay for the fumble.

@butthead 2722: I agree with megaladon. Looking at the players we lost, we'll be fine. Spitler's gone, but if you know OSU football, you know he wasn't our best and we're stacked at LB anyway. Although we lost Russell (who wasn't very good) and Coleman, Hines will be more than able to step in with all the playing time he's already gotten. And are you seriously that worried about DE? Have you ever heard of Nate Williams? If you think about it, we really don't have many holes to fill.

We lose Kurt Coleman but there is top tier young talent hungry to step in. Anderson Russell's gone but Hines played better than him anyway. Thaddeus Gibson but there's 5 star Melvin Fellows and John Simon (along with a few more guys) that could easily fill his shoes. And has anyone forgotten about Etienne Sabino? He was the number 1 LB recruit in the nation in 08 and will most likely fill in Spitlers spot. Go Bucks!!!

@frty77 There's no doubt that the SEC is the top conference right now, but they are weakening, which actually bodes well for Arkansas. I think you guys have the best pure passer in the country in Mallet, and it's not even close. The schedule sets up well, your toughest games are at home (LSU, Alabama) but I wouldn't sleep on a scrappy Mississippi State team. Good Luck next year, you guys have a good squad. Underrated, lots of NFL talent at skill positions.

Both those losses were to National Champ Florida, National Champ LSU playing in New Orleans (and OSU was on a rebuilding year), and a team who belonged in the National Championship, Texas. OSU brings back most of their starters on both sides of the football, and will be a force on the national stage.
