@Samodrei According to the band, the main riff is G Am Cmaj7 (normal C shape with open B string) capo'd at the 3rd fret. The 'Everytime I close my...' is just D Em. 'I don't want to be like everybody else' is Am G Em.  Easy peasy.

I grew up with this type of music in the 80's...Sarah Records, Postcard Label, Rough Trade, K Records, Cherry Red, C-86 etc. So glad to see this music from my generation influencing a whole new bunch of young bands!

@Samodrei try this - - "whenever i see you" etc.: Bb Eb; "every time i play the part" etc.: Dm Gm; then 1:06-1:10 is Bb Gm; "i don't wanna be like everybody else": Cm Bb Gm. or you can make it easy on yourself and do it in C - - "whenever i see you" C F(with open 1st string); "every time" etc. Em Am; then 1:06-1:10 is C Am; "i don't wanna" etc.: Dm C Am
