  • @amaragdoll I realise that people were saying he wasnt hapkido practitoner so I was pointing out some ways to tell that he was.

  • what is the title of this movie

  • @123dipal its the grandmaster of hapkido

  • You can tell its hapkido when he does the wrist and armlocks, notice he uses "ki" finger with his grips and live hand when he puts pressure on a joint or does an elbow strike.

  • Sorry to be redundant, but I've seen several postings of this video crediting Whang Kee, the founder of Tang Soo Do Moo Duk Kwan. Born in 1921.

  • Actually the master he is fighting is Hwang (Wang) In Sik, who started in Tang Soo Do and then studied Hap Ki Do. He was born in 1944. I've watched the movie and his kicks are incredably fast and show a definate Tang Soo Do influence.

  • JAAAAAACKIIIIIIEEEE CHAAAAAANNNNN WOOOOOAAAHHHHHHHHH!!!!?

  • sk | sPawN (no sound)

  • Hwang looks small compared to JC!

  • WOW! Just Amazing! Front snap, roundhouse, 2 side kicks then a back fist. Finishing off with a stomp kick from his support leg! Power, Grace and Speed. Very good film clip.

  • Soo Bahk Do is amazing

  • What a beautiful display of advanced skills and energy.

  • I have no sound and it still looks awesome with out.

  • One of the best fight in the history of martial arts

    Amazing

  • Jackie: I punched him I punched him!!

second later a huge kick comes back

    lol

  • master hwang as in hwang kee?

  • name of movie please??

  • jacky chan is not korean , he's from hong kong

  • @MultiFred50 he was speaking about the two styles from korea not both guys being korean :-)

  • Just so you know Jackie Chan studied not only Wushu but Hapkido and Bak Mei Kung Fu as well

  • Jackie: OH SHIT!!! ITS NOT SUPPOSTO BEND THAT WAY!!!! D:

    Master: (brushes mustash) 3>:D

  • can tell its hapkido by the extended finger in the joint locks used only by hapkido practioners

  • @rufusbone its is not only used in hapkido but kuk sool and hwarangdo

  • @digdugs57 thanks ,, ive never studied those arts so know nothing bout them.. also Jackie studied a bit of everything and is a master of none of them, but an all round martial artist and acrobat

  • Master Hwang showing crazy skill here. Definetly tell it was for a movie, he's "playing" around with ol' Jacko

  • Bože, to je píčovina

  • best man in hapkido!!

  • I use to have this movie. It was really good. The only problem was that i didn't have the name on the vhs. so i don't know what it was called.

  • @togem1000 " young master " was its title

  • yea, tang soo do and hapkido is way different...hapkido has better skill and is deadly if learned rite!

  • Sorry, they're both from Korea, and they use almost the same techniques, that's why i said that. My bad

  • :-) not bad, just a little off.

  • Tang Soo Do at it's greatness! we will miss you Sir! TANG SOO!

  • Sorry guy. This is Hapkido.

  • @mosswalker2 do you know what hap ki do means? i would say that hap ki do is more about knowing yourself and a lot of the movements are connected with tang soo do

  • @Streetwrites ALot of of every martial arts movements are connected to a a source. And yes, i do know what it means if you want literal and if you want a personal interpretation. Since Choi wasnt in Korea to learn tangsoodo ill stick with its not a derivative of it. The evolution brought alot of various techniques into its core and was developed to beat other arts. It should be considered the original MMA.

  • This is a great clip very fun. Why all the argument about who is really the best. All of the guys that you guys have mentioned are all bad ass dudes and all are masters in their own right one style does not trump another. without a doubt Master Hwang in Sik is a true living legend and is bad to the bone I had a chance to catch a show that he was in showing some training and it was painful to watch him dispatch peeps in sparing matches lol and he is as fast as vids on youtube brag it was crazy

  • Jackie is actually very decent and is a very nice guy i dont kno y u r sayin hes not lol but thts my opinion

  • you are name movie?

  • It is called The Young Master

  • really hapkido

  • that flying side kick was amazing

  • jackie chan looks so funny.

  • Thanks, great fight.

  • Gm.Huang is hapkido 7th dan at that time,he stared with bruce lee in the way of the dragon

  • he can't fight like Bruce,is a chinese circus crown, big jokes to kung fu,n he still think that he is king of kung fu,Jet lee at least better than him,Jackie, stop be a fool of yourself n to the chinese

  • And i do not have a clue what the hell you are saying so i will leave you to your .....whatever it is. Good day.

  • u no wen jet li and jackie made the forbidden kingdom together? jet lee admitted that jackie would beat him in a fight. and noone sed he can fight like bruce lee. btw how he fights in the movies is not how he would fight in real life, and comedy is part of his job, he is a pretty good martial artist

  • hes actually more of a acrobat then a martial artist -_-''

  • he is pretty good at stunts and acrobatics, which he does alot in movies but he is still a martial artist

  • no no, you dont understand... this isnt MY opinion... i KNOW master hwang in real life... and master hwang has had real sparring time with jackie chan... and in the end master hwang said he said 2 things... what i said before, and hes a cocky prick... kinda hard to picture, but yes he get drunk in hong kong and goes on stage rudely at random shows cause he thinks hes the shit...

  • wat? r u srs? but he rlly doesnt seem that way, maybe he used to be like that? i hope. jackie chan and jet li r like bruce lee to me! besides taht wat style does master hwang teach? it looks like tae kwon do or hapkido

  • he teaches hapkido yes, and i think out of the three i think jet li is the most decent person, maybe... cause bruce lee... dam, just watch his interview... the comments there are left by fans of bruce lee so its defending him... but if you REALLY listen, you'll see that he actually is very full of him self. and he attempts to sound intelligent and philosophical... but you realise for the entire interview is just have brain farts -_-''

  • Too be fair to Jackie. Master Hwang was speaking about time nearly 30 years ago. I know people that have worked with Jackie recently (new movie Spy next door) and they say he is a decent dude for the most part. kept to himself but was really nice to the kids.

  • alguien me puede decir si el master hwang que sale en esta escena si es en la actualidad 9ºdan de taekwondo itf?¿

  • Comment removed

  • 10º dan

  • incredible. its too bad they made him lose in the end of the movie.

  • LOL this so called master Hwang got his ass kicked in seconds.... By the the one and only GOD "Bruce Lee" in "Return of the Dragon" RLOF..

  • WOw i didnt see this comment. I was gonna remove it but thats not cool. Dude, its movies. The hero wins gets the girl and dodges bullets. Send a letter to Linda Lee and ask how much time Bruce spent asking questions and being shown moves by Hwang and Jae. Bruce was always learning. He would have been a GOD if he lived to 80. Sadly we never got the chance to see him become a Hwang.

  • That song is so awsome...

  • song? :S

  • its a joke bright spark

  • well done :)

  • Ok, wrong movie, my fault.

  • The snake in the shadow of the eagle. Awesome movie.

  • good cinematography too. The master is very stable in his positions. good fight.

  • This is one of the best levels of fighting that i have ever seen in a movie. This master is pretty god, precise and stetic.

  • Jakie was owned in this movie

  • What a perfect flying side kick

    HAHAHA

  • That arm twists gonna HURT LIKE HELL,

    FUCK...

  • i was a student of Master Hwangs for a while in toronto, he is a fascinating man

  • He broke Chan's ribs in this movie. Check him out at Eagle Hapkido on the Danforth if you're in Toronto.

  • hey mosswalker, are you a student of Master Hwangs?

  • I was along time ago.

  • I watch this movie 2-3 times a week. I never get bored of the prison escape and the final fight scenes.

  • Comment removed

  • on youtube search for sabidote he uploads all these old kungfu movies

  • Nah They know each other but are different people. This is Ing Shik Hwang and he would have eaten Lee in a fight. I am not going to say more except that Hwang was not a movie fighter he was a street fighter oh and he was the fastest recorded kicker in his day.

  • Do you think this guy is Hwang Jang Lee? Or do they just have similar names?

Anyways, i'd say Hwang Jang Lee(from Snake In Eagle's Shadow or Drunken Master) was the best kicking martial artist.

  • Hwang jung Lee is a Korean taekwondo master.

He was once a taekwondo teacher at the Korean army force in Vietnames war, 1970's.

His action is based on Taekwondo.

Hwang in shik, shown in this video who has similar name is a Hapkido master from Korea.

    Now he lives in Canada.

He said he had to pretend to be awkward in movements to make Bruce Lee outstanding in the movie.
