Hi MahaNomi, thanks for a great looking recipe. Could you tell me how you prepare the quinoa, is it cooked or is it sprouted or soaked in water which will indicate to me whether it is a cooked meal or a raw meal? Thanks :)
Your are so funny, I love your nuttiness and yet have this incredible natural wisdom. You are simply awesome! Keep up the good work and inspiring the world and making me laugh :)
hey i only just found your channel...so before I watch every vid...i thought i'd ask.
I make quinoa a lot..but I have only always made it on the stove top...how do you make it in the crockpot? I don't expect a reply here but maybe you can do a tut? :-)
I just made my own cultured veggies. So easy. I made two big jars, Threw in eggplant and squash with red cabbage onions carrots and garlic and celtic sea salt and squeezed the heck out of it. Then jarred it and squeezed till all the brine came to the surface. Left for 5 days. Awesome.
I bought the cultured vegies at Whole Foods for $8 today and made the recipe exactly. It was very good, but I probably couldn't eat it every day. Any other good recipes for the cultured vegies? Thanks!
*~Hi, I enjoy your vids, and I'd like to see more affordable meals. I am on a fixed income, and after I pay rent I have $32 a week for food (thank goodness for peanut butter). I cant really afford a $20 jar of veggies, so what would you use instead of them? Thank you, Love & Peace!!!~*
@MahaNomi *~Is there anything else to add the probiotics to the meal, besides the cultured veggies, on a lesser budget? Thank you for responding so quick =) ~*
@dreamfaeiry your best bet is to just buy cultured veggies or probiotics in bulk after saving up and then use them over a logn period of time to save money.
@dreamfaeiry Learn how to make them: you need cabbage and salt. Cheapest thing in the world. Really surprised that MahaNomi didn't simply suggest this...?
@McShieldBash notice in that statement.. using the word but did not make the sentence mean anything bad. If i said.. its really cheap and easy but it taste bad... that's another story.
Need had Quinoa before. I really don't know what to do with it. Family didn't grow up eating it. I do have some in my kitchen now though and it's just sitting there!!!
@potterylady1 Quinoa is so easy & good! Just eat it like you would rice....as a side, or a salad with any veggies you want and some olive oil and vinegar or any dressing!
@himaureen Thank you :). I will have to try and make a salad then. Also... I can actually spell the word " never". It just appears like I can't from the previous sentence I typed ha lol.
How do you know that the fermented veggies are unpasteurised? I bought some at the organic grocery store on the weekend, but it didn't say anything on the jar about pasteurised/unpasteruised.
@Kangaroocreekgangclu if they are at a conventional grocery store then they most likely are... the best cultured Veggies are from HEALING MOVEMENT.. link in the description.
@MahaNomi It's not exactly a conventional grocery store. It's pretty small and everything in there is organic. The problem with the Healing Movement stuff is that it's American and I live in Australia.
something with fresh mint... I love mint, and I grow mint in my yard... but I never use it because I just don't know what to do with it!! (other than mint tea of course.. :p)
@MahaNomi i hate avacado and i have 2 trees in my back yard. :( it just doesnt taste right. Any idea how to make it taste better? i can mix it with the other fruits in my yard but idk what would be good. i have lime cherries soursop plum mango coconut banana and pommecythere. thanks for your suggestion in advance. oh i'm from the caribbean thats why i got all these stuff so can't add peaches and stuff like that.

Quinoa is an Incan super grain originated from PERU, highly regarded in that culture for its nutritional benefits. Just a quick fact, Thanks :)
