The reporter mistook Jing Jing's roommate Si Yuan as Jing Jing. Si Yuan is one of the most easily recognizable pandas due to her two white front paws.

the giant pandas first nearley became extinct from hunting .. but now they face extinction for starvation .. i think we should introduce them to new types of food .. to see if they can adapt to it and then there wouldnt be as bigger problem xx

Absolutely beautiful animal. We must all help in saving these wonderful animals and ensure their habitat is protected for the future. This applies to all the bears in China. Such amazing creatures should be the priority. It would be an unbelievable tragedy to lose them. Its a worldwide responsibility.
