  • so i will never buy an instrument on the EBAY. learned my lesson in the hard way. Now I have 3 accordeons and try to sell one in my city. not even try to sell on the ebay, I don't to have problem. it is risky to ship. they don't handle it with care.

  • @lucygabriel i bought a Russia Bayan 120bass. works great. for less than 1K$ i could find anything in my region so i tried my luck on Ebay.

  • I GOT one accordeon so cheap with great description when I got it i could believe the box very dirty, the accordeon stink and the belows had hole and smell awfull. I put back onthe box and ship back and got my money back and lost the money to return it. I put a negative feedback to the seller and until today he wants me to remove it. I told him he lied on the description and I lost money to return it. if he pays me my return money i take the negative feedback. he never ask me again. we both lost

  • I had an experience recently: I bought an accordion nice description, one owner and he did pay for insurance. The accordeon arrived with defected, I could not open the belows it was so noise. The problem is the UPS did not handle with care, on the box it was one label:FRAGIL. So the seller contacted the UPS and they pay to repair it. Many times it is the shipping company that does not handle with care.Accordeon is very sensivel instrument. in my case I won. but it is hard to proof it was UPS

  • I hope that you didn't get new reeds. Those can be fixed.

  • Right!

  • This is what happens when you buy a accordion on e-bay, looks like all the reeds are rusted and corrosion.

  • I've found that the way to get your money back is to catch the seller in a material misrepresentation. E-Bay doesn't want to get involved in disputes, but they don't want to be party to actual fraud.

In your case, "sounds good" is subject to interpretation, so you won't get far with a fraud complaint. But if you had gotten the seller to say there was no rust on the reeds, the fact of rust makes it fraud. Just send a picture along with the seller's false statement. That's enough to win.

  • Thank you "Wise One". Good input

  • LOL! That's really unlucky!

  • Thank you for showing us the heart of such fabulous an instrument... When repaired, what pleasure again...
