Is this a song about Northampton in the U.S. or in the Midlands of England? I ask because I'm always surprised to see Northampton in England on the map... by the way I like this song, it's not anywhere near the racket of stuff I've heard at some gigs, and I've always been a fan of Steve anyway, especially when he was in Zounds...
