Great vid. It could be a chemtrail (they don't ever dissipate, they expand) or some other phenomenon... I notice the clouds creeping in next to the moon are moving while the trail stays in the same spot. Keep it up.

It is only a contrail being lit by the moon; there is nothing unusual about it. Oh and you also captured part of a corona-not a halo. A halo wouldn't be so close to the moon.
Interesting perspective....it is not an aircraft contrail....or we would have seen it form and it would have dissipated differently. It is a weather phenomenon of some kind. Thanks for your input.
Not all contrails dissipate as soon as they are formed and I didn't see it dissipate in this vid. It is a contrail; I have spotted what you saw in this video several times myself and have paid it no mind bc it's not unusual.
