  • fantastic performance by three geniuses.

  • 0:54 true fan

  • @garryscott651 The energy that must give of a band seeing someone so into it must be like nothing any of us who dont play music will ever know

  • One of the best guitar riffs ever.

  • Why cream , are you hating on led zeppelin just because they made it more far, shame on you.

  • oh how i wished that jimmi and eric could have got together at some point just as satriani and vai.just imagaine those guys doing a g3 concert.if i had the money id love to get eric with footage of jimmy doing somthing new together.THAT would raise enough money to feed AFRICA........

  • HIGH!

  • This is a brilliant live version of the song; it's awesome!!!

  • and BAM final song, the world of music has never gotten any better again....

  • they were so fucking powerful in that time... in their reunion in 2005 they were ok, but Clapton is "softer" now (he is not that tight and aggresive, but anyway is god), Ginger was great and Jack was the one that I saw was "worst" I can't almost hear him (though it might be the mix of the dvd) and his singing is not as good as Clapton's, he's lost a lot. Ginger and Jack look 20 years older than Eric now!

  • ginger got something scary....

  • @paulpaulpaulify well you're entitled to your opinion of course but I actually think he's very underrated. He bought something entirely different to rock drumming, especially with Cream. He was heavily influenced by African rhythms and jazz but combined the two to create a unique drumming style.

I was lucky enough enough to see Cream live back in 2005 and he was still an astounding drummer.

  • how could youtube commit a sin like this......putting a dislike button on a cream video...bastards

  • @dneill101 Because Youtube respect every individual's right to their own opinion, whether it's agreed with by a majority or not.

  • forgt about and enjoy the video....

  • By teh way when i went in the tourne jornerman of Clapton here in Brazil you doen´st still born or maybe was a litle child. be cool !

  • really you born too late i agree.. anyaway i was speaking in portuguese and i think taht tha music is universal... all right?!

  • REAL ROCK STARS ARE CREAM LED ZEPPELIN JIMI HENDRIX AND LOADS MORE DON'T LISTEN TO JUSTIN GO SEE WHAT ELSE THERE IS :]

  • ginger baker looks like eric from true blood

  • hey des is doch im Cabidol in Monnem, odda?

  • ***** five of five*****

  • Some nice editing at 1:03

  • Jack Bruce looks like Alex from A Clockwork Orange

  • the people at the end...great!

  • 3 Great people! Amazing sound...unbelievanble!

  • Did you note Roger Waters blend to the crowd?

  • 4:08 the audience is on drugs

  • It's gett'n near dawn..

  • @itsooz .yeah me too

  • you're definitely right! too late to stare at these damn giants!

  • this is music to put nails into walls - without a hammer!

  • to my friends : !

  • This is a proper live gig!! would love too of seen this

  • Let`s be honest that`s the best band ever

  • I remember after a big night staying at my mates house then the next morning was woken up at 10 by this DVD turned up full blast on his TV set sounded like cream was playing live upstairs as it echoed through his house nearly shattering the windows..... This is what got me into cream

  • i was playing my guitar yesterday and this lick came out 3:25 hmm now i know where come from. :/ im disappointed with myself its seems that i i steal it

  • whats similar to eric clapton and black coffee?

Theyre both shit without cream :D

  • wrong!

Eric Clapton is an amazing artist, he doenst need cream!

And coffee is supposed to be black.

    U americans dont know coffee!

  • @pinkjoey3 Haha - hittade ännu en av dina beryktade kommentarer! :D "Gotta Catch 'Em All"!

  • i say this one more time, Clapton sounded better with gibson

  • Indeed; he sounded better with the Gibson.

His playing got 'downhill' after he became a better guitarplayer. He started playing more chords rather than in the early years in witch he played more notes (Cream).

-I like him less schooled. He's more raw &free here. I don't mind the sloppyness.

Today he's a guitarist turned singer: he accompanies himself on the guitar!!

It should have been the other way!

  • I was born too late..

  • Me 2 dude..

  • Me too ...again!

  • @Itsooz I was just in time :-)

  • @Itsooz

Yes, Man ... you're so right.

  • @Itsooz Or perhaps we came later to make sth and we're kind of inheritors? What if one of us was 2nd Clapton, Page or Wylde? Always look on the bright side

  • @Itsooz hahahahahahahah.... pois é! Ainda bem que existe o youtube.

  • @Jhonnybgood2011 Why do you asume I speak Spanish?

  • @Itsooz there´s no spanish ..is portuguese. And i think i speak in my languge for mey friend s in my country becouse the music is something universal ok!

  • @Jhonnybgood2011 No my point is you didn't post a random comment, you've replied specifically to mine therefore assuming I can understand that language..

  • @Itsooz

    yea, man, me 2

  • the sunrise of Mary Jane...back...away...are the 60´s!

  • Ultimate Gibson ES-335 sound...

  • einfach nur noch geil, sofort in meine Favoriten reingenommen :-)

  • and some 1 told me that games dont have good music

  • this riff with the smoke on the water riff are the most amazings riffs ever¡¡¡¡¡

  • the best trio ever...they had magic ...thanks for that....:)

  • This group was the best all time Trio. A bass driven rock song, with a killer riff. GENIUS!!!!. It's a shame they couldnt work out there differences and keep making innovative music.

  • onde eu encontro o show completo?

  • Comment removed

  • Grandes maestros de la musica: Eric Clapton, Jack Bruce y Ginger Baker. En un concierto memorable en el Royal Albert Hall.

  • OOO the 60`s;) the dudes r really tripping...ha ha ha

  • ginger is from dundee

  • "Ginger is from Dundee".

Since when? He was born in Lewisham, South London. Jack Bruce is from Glasgow, Scotland and Eric Clapton was born in Ripley, Surrey.

It's 41 years ago tonight, folks.

  • @Rich6Brew " *"Ginger is from Dundee".

Since when? He was born in Lewisham*

    *snorting*

  • Yeah!!!

  • muy buena cancion. jaja la cantidad de cosas ke se habrian metido estos antes de subir al escenario

  • 3 masters at work. Mr Ginger (god) baker is the best rock drummer ever

  • Don't be silly Crossybhoy. Jack Bruce is the lead singer and Bass player. Eric Clapton on lead and the one and only Ginger on drums. I have seen the band many times in the late 60's so hopefully have some idea. Their farewell concert at the Albert Hall was a memeory to treasure

  • I wish I was there. Best live band ever.

  • Sunshine of your love...a tribute from them to Jimi Hendrix;-) Bruce came up with the riff after they saw jimi perform.....and Jimi played this one as a tribute to them...cool.....the cream is great!!!!

  • I knew a riff this classic had to have Hendrix involved somehow

  • Jack came up with the riff long before that. He had actually used both halves of it in a song called Rootin' Tootin'. He later had the masterstroke of putting the two parts together. Nothing to do with Jimi...

  • ehhm...and yet another tale;-)....according to the biography: 'Electric Gypsy' (H.Shapiro & C.Glebbeek) Jimi had definitly something to do with this particulair riff, But heck I wasn't there, I just read it in a book...and you?

  • I merely reiterate that Bruce composed this riff in 1965 before Cream happened and before he'd even heard of Hendrix. It appeared in its obvious two halves in an earlier song. When writing one night with Pete Brown he returned to those two parts of the riff and joined them together. If it has any obvious 'parent' he may well have been inspired by the Kinks' "You Really Got Me". However, that little semi-tone jump riff happened a lot in Bruce's playing anyway.

  • @duggablatt....yawn.......great answer duggablatt........Great timing also....In the Netherlands we'd call you: 'Spuit Elf'.........it's like the eleventh hose of a firefighter-team, which only starts working when the fire's already extinguished. Anyway It's still an awesome riff....and as I said before: I wasn't there so I really wouldn't know for sure, I just read something in a book. (Which was more interesting anyway than your ''answer'')

  • fuck you!

  • これは最高としか言えないな

  • Clapton is GOD

  • mega banda!!!

  • CREAM is one of the super bands ever!!!!

  • Super!!!!!!

  • Ginger Baker, the best.....the monster.

  • I was 14 when they broke up & somehow we all knew an age was over and there would be nothing like it ever again

  • here's to you xxx

  • Imagine bumming around London in those days.

Cream, Jimi Hendrix and Led Zeppelin in the Albert Hall.

  • the sicodelia of the 70.

  • i read from eric's autobiography that in one of Cream's concert Eric suddenly stop playing and neither Ginger nor Jack noticed..hahaha..but i dnt know which concert was that and if there is existing video

  • awsome!!!

  • great, great, great!

  • go Ginger GO!!!

  • Bruce looks so drunk its funny

  • well, he looks like any typical Glasgow heroin addict - which he was at the time, lol.

  • People Should Be HEadbanging to Cream,LEd Zep,Ozzy and the other legends like Blackmore,Dio,Slash and others instead of crap trash metal today

  • 100% agree

  • @snowyICEgun exactly

i love all the legends, Led Zeppelin, Cream, Queen, RHCP, Ozzy and ACDC

awesome bands love em or hate em U cant get em out of ur head!!!!

  • @snowyICEgun wrong :)

  • @snowyICEgun 'Crap trash metal today'? It's not the 80's anymore you know lol

  • @snowyICEgun today's metal isn really crap, there are still many bands with more young or old talented musicians like bullet for my valentine or the good old metallica.

  • this is cool music and awesome voice. seems both audience and band were so high then :D

  • rofl. love the guy headbanging.

  • I can play this on a guitar :D

It's is so awesome to just sit there jamming it"

  • sono in 3 e hanno un muro di suoni potentissimo! fantastici!unici!

  • at 1.00 was that peter green

  • Real Good Music!! Keep on Rockin'!!!

  • GINGER BAKER IS THE MAN

  • you stupid! rock n'roll will never die!! :D

  • that is sooo true

  • the greatness of the song is that it has 40 years of age and sounds a million times better than a lot of crap of today. true genius

  • LOL!!!!

That is Sunshine of your Love and not a song from Gh 3 !

    This is real music!

  • Disregarding all the mumbo-jumbo about drugs it's the intensity of which they play that is unsurpassed to this day.

  • just great

  • Ginger Baker's the bomb! All three are total legends, period!

  • a guitar hero song in ps2

  • it does not matter if the drummer is stoned or not you fool! One of the easiest things in this world is to critizise to the others behaviours. I only say that he was a good and an honest drummer...

  • is the drummer on drugs??

  • eheheh i think so..

  • Dont matter if he is

  • Who wasn't at the time?

  • This is the late 60's. It would be odd if he wasn't on drugs.

  • clapton rocks

  • ah back when music was fresh and exciting now music is just boring rehashed and dead.

  • Eric is God!

  • ☻/

  • it sounds like acid blues

  • only 5:46 ??? this is blody short for being a live cream song!!

  • I have a 16 minute version of this song, but for the life of me can't remember which concert it's from - and it's their opening number!

Cream, eh? You don't get better than this.

  • Me really want that one... when they were on theyr top, Cream never played more than 4-5 song in concert because they were so long all of them :D is there any way to send files between youtube users? your version is really tempting

  • Name one band that plays like this today?

  • No one m8 :) exactly :)

  • Cream, on video!

  • Occasionally some bands hit this level of awesomeness in live shows, but none stay up at that height for long. Cream were clearly just one of the best bands on the planet

  • Furkinh wicked, terrific posting thanks

  • eric looks really fucking annoyed with jack
