I watched the vid again, and it's not 80 seconds per run it's 75. Even still that's still 1248 logs an hour, which is 100 below minimal speed of backlighting.
3600 seconds in an hour. From bank to bank it took you 75 seconds.
3600/75 = 48. That's the amount of trips you are making in an hour.
48 * 26 (logs burnt per trip) = 1248.
With the backlighting you can get 1350 logs an hour, which is a base speed. You can get more logs an hour.

At that rate you are only burning 1170 logs an hour. That's a full 200 logs slower than backlighting method. You're losing out on experience ;)

No, 52/2.32 = ~22.4 * 60 = 1344.8 logs per hour.
