There is now a Katana 3 but for the same price you can get a Hyper 212 from Cooler Master which performs A LOT better.

If you live in the USA go to Newegg and they have a great deal on the Hyper 212 at the moment with free shipping.

I believe your cooler is slightly better but he can easily change his fan to a better and bigger one at anytime.
