Scene/Emo hair doesn't always have to be straight...it can be curly or wavy, and it looks really pretty both ways.

I have really thick layered hair and since I broke my straightener ...I stepped on it & accidently and it broke in half D:

i found a way that works for me! All I do is take a shower, get out, towel dry my hair and take scrunching mousse and scrunch my hair until it's wavy and then part my bangs to the side.

i dont get why people think straight is better than curly.curly is unique and people rarely have it. people love my curly hair. Ever since my freshman year of high school started, people tried to curl their hair so it looks like mine. i get a lot of compliments.

@Sind3lla there's tons of factors that contribute to the poofyness in curly/wavy hair :3 it could be the humidity during the summer,(where I live it never gets humid) but I also recommend to braid your hair at night (not damp), so in the morning it's less frizzy.

It helps me so much! Ive been doing this for over 3 years lolol

if you can get long layers, that can even out some of the weight brought by the hair, I know it sounds weird how I ohrased that...but yeah. ahhaha hope I helped!

I totally get what you mean! a lot of these look like just straight hair w/ curls(it was hard to find good pics),but you *can* make it with naturally curly hair, even though it does get hard sometimes. Ive naturally thick curly hair(w/ layers,bangs,etc) and i can still tease it :D

but of course, it doesn't look like the typical straight scene hair

well,mine gets frizzy too, but what I do is braid it at night and take it out in the morning...it helps a LOT, my curls look all professional. uum,if your hair still gets frizzy,I recommend using serums and curl-defining mousse(:

if you've short hair, then frizziness is more common.if you've longer hair,it helps
