Girl, I would have started to do some dialogue about how you had an act prepared 15 minutes ago...then you were told they couldn't play the music. The audience would have gotten personal with you because it's such a common situation, things not going according to plan. Take away the props, tell a story related to the situation: I think that would have gone over well. Still: guts. That took an enormous amount of guts.

The great thing about comedy is that you can perfect your set by seeing what worked and what didn't. If you were to go back with the same character I'd keep moo-motha, the nothing (stop that one right there at the answer), The Ack list without the poses, and have the audiance say it with you... use the what am I doing right now one... at the very end... and say Thankyou!
