It was in 1980 at Manchester Piccadilly Railway Station that I saw Paul Weller waiting for his train, as a 17 year old I went up to him and asked for his autograph only to be told "err it's Bruce Foxton actually"....not one of my best moves but I walked away with his autograph feeling very embarrassed and probably pissing Bruce off at the same time :D ...if you ever read this Bruce, sorry mate....

What a great band these guys were. I loved there music. I met Paul Weller going back in, i think it was 1983. My buddy and I went to see Teardrop Explodes at a small venue in Toronto, not too far from Maple Leaf gardens. Well, the Jam were playing there and after their concert they came too see Teardrop Explodes. Who sits at out table but none other than Paul Weller. WOW!!! I knew it was him. He said hello and asked if it was alright too sit down. We said sure. The rest is history. LOL.
