no he didn't. He played timpani for them during the 08 season (his graduation year). The spartans will not be fielding a corps during the 09 season. However they will be fielding (hopefully) in 2010.

This "battle" wasn't to justify for loosing in the mac plaque. We know pink is better than LHS at sports, this was just for fun. As for being dirty and what not, we had 9 snares, cut us some slack. We did play a bunch of cadences that I prefer to call "booty grooves" (a few of which I wrote) those are just for pep rallies and stuff like that. We played more technical cadences for more formal situations. And the one that was featured in drumline is a common cadence amongst college drumlines.

Hey, im gonna be in Pinkerton Academy next year!! and im sorry to say you londonderry lancers are gonna go down!! i jsut recently played with Pinkerton at one of there homegames and they were amazing!! im sorry but PA's drumline is soo good!! They are really good actually i know a lot of people fromt he drumline and they are soo good!! there candens are amazing for the parade!! And WHO WON THE MAK PLAQUE THIS YEAR I BELIEVE PINKERTON DID!! OHH GO ASTROS!!

Unless Eric Guinto injuries himself within the next 10 hours or during the first quarter, I don't think Londonderry stands a chance at the game. They don't call this kid "Speedy Guinto" for nothing.

The band, will rock and be much better than Pinkerton's as always, though. You've got that.

It's not really a competition because LHS's band is a lot bigger, but Londonderry sort of owns PA in the drum line category.

But too bad they've lost the Mack Plaque for the past 6 years. (And it will be 7 tomorrow. Just wait.)

but you know, we were just fine, but just not even in the same league as londonderry. from what i hear, they are basically giving their lives to that band, which is not a bad thing. with pinkerton, it's just kind of... fun on the side, even though i kind of wish it had been a little more.

but yeah, kudos to londonderry. that lead tenor dude has some nasty stuff. spartans i bet.

being from PA i have to say that Londonderry rocks (not just because I have friends) for a drumline of that size you guys are so good. I am a snare drummer on the line, in fact in most I am the one closest to the camera. You guys totally powned our buts but you rock we rock and we all had fun.

ADAM RHANNNN!! yeah, londonderry so owned but really a good time was had by all, and we all went away in good spirits. im glad we shook hands at the end, because although competition is fun, we know to draw the line at hating PA kids just because they're from derry. and PA, you guys did an amazing job, i definatly hope to meet you guys again in the playoffs, its so fun to compete with you guys, you're great. awesome job everybody!!

That day was awesome. The game was wicked close, both our halftime shows were awesome then the drum battle. Yea...of course im going to say that PA was better cause im from there and on the drumline, but exactly what it said at the end "WE ALL HAD FUN" and that is all that counts. We HOPE to see you guys again in the playoffs (since both teams always makes it.)
