I love Deadman Wonderland I mean sure it has some gore here and there but it's not overused the story is good characters grab my attention in my opinion it's actually pretty good.

I had the manga before watching the anime, I think the anime was very well done. they did miss out one character tht is introduced near the start, who has a role to play later on in the series.

thanks for the plug, i have now watched all 12 episodes and was sucked in from the get go. this is easily the most immersive anime i have watched in years; great vocal talent, tasty art work exquisitely directed with a well paced storyline; simply a brilliant piece of psychotic theatre that allows the mind to wrap it's self in the images displayed and left absent.

the anime is good but not great .. it has absolutely no climax ... its verry anti-climatic and everything mooves so fast its like u cant even enjoy anything cuz there are too many events in the same episodes ... the graphic is amazing i can say that and it has a verry unique stile .. much like Gantz:P but i say it again its anticlimatic

i love the manga and i love the the anime. my only problem is they should have added more suspense into the very beginning at the school right before the attack. i felt like it needed to have something a little off foreshadowing disaster other than the trip. they should have had like in dark night the joker scene at the beginning there is no background sound and its just quiet then slowly this really uncomfortable sound comes on very gradually and adds this suspense. maybe thats just me though.

@MsRabidLFangirl An anime equivalent to the Dark Knight. Only Trigun has ever reached that level of awesome (in my opinion) Critique wise anyway. Gurren Lagann is my fave anime but only for the scope it reaches of battles with the universe as a weapon.

Still, Deadman Wonderland is pretty cool and i'm sticking with it for atleast one watch through the whole series

@99Drema99 My opinion, Deadman Wonderland. Elfen Lied's nice and really effects my mood. It sucks you into the anime. Although Deadman Wonderland doesn't do that, it's story is nicer in my opinion. But it's all debateable. Sorry though, I realize you weren't asking me at all.

the anime is done really well. the animation is beautiful, the additions are awesome it is perfect in almost every aspect. my only complaint is that some of the characters from the manga were left out. it may not hinder the plot. (we'll see as more episodes come out but it definitely takes something away from it. Other wise great review guys.

P.S. the fights are refered to as carnival of corpses. i don't mean to be nit-picky. just sayin.

I read the manga up to it's newest chapter 44 in one night and the thing I love about it is that it doesn't overdo the violence, like it has just the perfect amount of blood & gore, the storyline is just fantastic I watched the first 4 episodes after reading your review then couldn't stop without reading the Manga :P

All I can say is that this is an AMAZING anime/manga and I'd highly highly highly recommend it to anyone who likes that sort of thing.

...about a girl who loves a guy who is eventually going to kill her but doesn't want to...and that girl has a split personality like in elfen lied, she's the actual evil character in this manga and probably in the anime too

The graphic wasn't too much for me. I mean if that was actually me in there it probably would have been too much, but I didn't freak out too much. Honestly I am not disappointed one bit (this is a one sided perspective as I haven't read the manga) maybe the first anime I have ever watched that went such in detail with death and blood.
