well Lani's so-called whistle here is actually just a HEAD VOICE. she doesn't have the whistle voice. she's a classical soprano so she can hit that F6 through her head voice. Yes F6 is a note in the whistle register but still accessible by head voice. Lani hit that WHISTLE NOTE but NOT by the use of WHISTLE VOICE.

All of Lani's performances of this song are such a GIGANTIC let down. Her voice is very beautiful, but one has to wonder why it is that a soprano has to slow the tempo of a song to sing comfortably in the soprano range. Also, she desperately needs to work on her whistle register - she can barely control it, has to make a massive effort to reach an E6 an is horribly out of tune while doing so. One would assume that a classically trained singer would control all the areas of her voice.

Well it's a beautiful song definately not boring. Lani brings out the mood in the song with very good showmanship. She sang with soul except for the high tone in the end of the song. Philipino tend to emphasize too much on high tone and how high a singer can scream out. But actually the best part of philipino singer is how perfectly well they can convey the emotion of the song. I think some of the best singer in the world is a philipino. Beautiful people ....

I don't care for the talking in the middle of a song though. Its unprofessional. I'm looking for a performance, not a singalong.

I also disagree with avoiding the high notes until the end - it made it look as if she was afraid to do them. And when she did hit the highs, there was a little instability.
