Answering Bible contradiction #44 (what did Jesus say about his witness?)

Jesus came as a man. He was not testifying that He was here to do His will and to exhibit His power, but that of His Father's (God's). He was the Son of God, made of flesh. And, as He went around healing the sick, raising the dead, and casting out the demons, He did so in His Father's name, and because of this, His Father (God) gave Him power. His witness is the power of God. That explains John 5:31.

In John 8:18, Jesus is referring to His rightly condemn the people that God, the Father made because He is a Judge. His first title is Judge. Other than that, He only received power through His Father (witness of God, not Jesus) when He was performing miracles in His name! And, now that He is glorified in heaven, it's through His shed blood, we the redeemed have His power. SEEK GOD EVERYBODY, PLEASE SEEK GOD!

John 5: 30—32 I can of mine own self do nothing: as I hear, I judge: and my judgment is just; because I seek not mine own will, but the will of the Father which hath sent me. If I bear witness of myself, my witness is not true. There is another that beareth witness of me; and I know that the witness which he witnesseth of me is true.

John 8: 14—18 Jesus answered and said unto them, Though I bear record of myself, yet my record is true: for I know whence I came, and whither I go; but ye cannot tell whence I come, and whither I go. It is also written in your law, that the testimony of two men is true. I am one that bear witness of myself, and the Father that sent me beareth witness of me.
