It's so hard for the ones left behind, but I've had to learn recently how difficult it is for those of us who may be asked to do the leaving. I hear this and can only think of those who love me the most, those who've just been reunited with me after 20, 30, even more years apart, thinking there were 30 or 40 more ahead if we were lucky. Instead, within just a few months came the diagnosis of late-stage breast cancer. Fighting as hard as I can. But the deck is stacked. My tears aren't for myself.

November 21/22, 2011 marks one year since Barbra's death. I miss her even more. 2010 hasn't been a good, or easy, year for me. I send you countless thanks for your hopeful and kind thoughts. Love is a magic word... few ever find in a lifetime. Jefferson Starship "Miracles". While she was with you, you were one of the lucky few.

There isn't another song out there that expresses the loss of a loved one like this one does. beautifully written by Wayne Wells, and could only be sung with such true expression of longing as Justin Haywood has done here.

@karlwhubbard Yes, I was graced by God for having the two years with My Barbra Rose. She is waiting for me in Heaven. It took me over thirty years and the world-over to find My Barbra. Barbra was (and remains) my gift from Heaven. She is truly a resplendent lady. I miss Barbra more with each passing day. I KNOW I always will. I pray and hope that I am with my wife, Barbra, very soon. Justin Hayward is a song-smith of the first order!
