The 3litre v6 is a bit of a disaster in terms of the engine. It's only around 170BHP, you can get more out of a 1.9 fiat engine as used in the older Astra and that is a lot faster. So is the older Astra 1.7 Isuzu engine ith 125BHP. Most Vauxhall / GM engines are a mess and they went back to building their own for the new Astra and Insignia. Both underpowered, slow and thirsty with high road tax bills in the UK. Stick to FORD !
