"Days of Future Past" I believe it was. Also "Old Man Logan", but he really didn't blame himself, he settled down into a quiet life, until he was dragged back into the rest of the world. Of course in doing so he did something neither Bats nor Supes could EVER do, he killed the president, Red Skull with Cap's shield, then used Iron Man's armor to make his way across the country, both of whom were dead.
