@Milliding just get a 2.4ghz radio and receiver. Bought one for my Emaxx and the antenna isn't even long enough to leave the waterproof box your truck has. Still has awesome range.

yes, they do have alot of backspacing, tho I'm not sure of the offset.
Sorry I can't remember the kind of wheels, something at the LHS that they had on the shelf. I'll try to find the package the report back.
