  • Easily the best version by far of this beautiful song. While there are some nice recordings of the song by other artists no one gets even close to him singing it.

  • A eighty-three year lifetime in which to dream and memories of dreams come true. Blessed be the One who let it be.

  • A lifetime of dreams realized, and memories of an eighty-three years lifetime in which to dream. Blessed be the one who may it be.

  • Some songs you just never tire of . This is most certainly is one of them .

  • This is music that touches the soul

  • Just a wonderful tender song by a great reader of songs- Jack Clement

  • Truly moving version, but I can't make my mind up if it is better than the also beautiful version by Foster & Allen. Love them both!

  • my goodness, thank you so much for uploading this! my Mum used to sing this to me to put me to sleep :') her favourite song.

  • Everyone who listens to Brian Wilshire on 2GB knows this song. It's beautiful. Thank you for transferring it from the vinyl so it can live on.

  • heard this on the radio today. What a song! Isn't it marvellous how you can find a song that moves you. I'd never heard it before. Wonderful.

  • We were fortunate to see Jack perform his live at Hordern Pavilion Sydney around 1983 as part of Johny Cash show.Absolutely marvellous.I am lucky to have it on tape.Nobody can match his version.

  • Thanks for this - my Dad played this album when I was a little tacker. I clearly remember its' extraordinary atmosphere. I'm now a professional musician and songwriter, no doubt thanks to memories like this :)
