With all due respect to Mr. Lebamoff, the MPO was started and manned by ethnic Macedonians, not ethnic Bulgarians. The "Bugaro-Macedonian" comes from the churches. Back in the past Macedonians couldn't have their own churches, so they had Bugaro-Macedonian and Russo-Macedonian churches. Bulgarians should stop negating the Macedonian ethnic identity.
With all respect to you, but MPO was based on the "Macedono-Bulgarian Associations" created in 1902. The idea for creation of MPO is on Todor Alexandrov.

They printed their newspaper "Makedonska Tribuna" in the Bulgarian language. "Macedonian", he said, is a collective geographical term. Ethnic Albanians, Bulgarians, Turks, etc. from the region of Macedonia fit into that term.

The Macedonian churches in North America were built by ethnic Macedonians who eventually left the "Bugaro-Macedonian" churches of the MPO. As soon as they didn't have to be "Bugaro" anymore and could build their own Macedonian churches they split and freed themselves.

With all due respect to Mr. Lebamoff, the MPO was started and manned by ethnic Macedonians, not ethnic Bulgarians. The "Bugaro-Macedonian" comes from the churches. Back in the past Macedonians couldn't have their own churches, so they had Bugaro-Macedonian and Russo-Macedonian churches. Bulgarians should stop negating the Macedonian ethnic identity.
