Yep - she's been killed off because the actress wants to go to uni. I think they could have left it open for a return, tbh - although how they would have split up Bridget and Declan after all this time, I don't know. There's been a few nice scenes between Kate and Declan lately - I wonder if they will pair the two of them up in time.
i cried and i didnt even know i was untill i saw the water on my shirt :P they killed her off becuase she wanted to leave for some uni position she had held for 3 years or something and they wouldnt hold any loger or some thing like that.
