  • lol of course , but its about the money that you will pay when you are loading the tank.

Anyway i gues its worth it ... souch amazing car .. I want 2 :S One green and one tuned silver. Ooohoooo

  • I Love the focus ... i got one but its tdci :p

Anyway does someone know the Fuel Consumation of this RS ?

  • from 6 to 38.5 mpg mate depends on drving style

  • @7Gkar7 I read it's not much different than the ST ... averaging around 28mpg, but that does depend on the driving style, and lets face it, ya not going to eco-drive in a RS :P

  • I wish everyone would stop quoting £25k, I have ordered the green 1 with green seats as shown fully spec'd and I wont have much change from £31k and thats before that unelected one-eyed fat scottish prick we call a prime minister ramps the VAT back up to 17.5% I hope its

as good as every one claims as ford wouldnt let test drive one!

  • For anyone who compares the first generation RS to this new one.....Give up now!!!! The suspension, chasis and slip diff all work in a completely different way!! the RS 2009 model is designed as A-B ROAD car, it will beat pretty much anything u put in its way!!! also any car will torque steer if you manage to put the power down right, my first car was piddly saxo vts which would give small hints of torque steer!! this new RS a new break through in the many years of FWD development!!!

  • why is everyone so interested in 0-60 time? The fun part begins after 60...bubbllyboo - how fast is the evo 60-120?any idea?

  • 0-60 in 5.9 and they call it rapid lol..when the evo sitting next to it does it in 5 flat.. having the cheek to say its better then an evo when it has front wheel drive lol give me a break!

  • Its not Cheek Mate. Even Jeremy Clarkson said that he can't see a Evo X keeping up with the RS. It may get better traction off the line cos it has 4WD but the power across the rev range isn't like the RS. The RS has its power across the whole Rev Range and it will keep pulling in any gear without having to change down a few gears, where as in the Evo you need to change down so the turbo can spool up to its correct boost.

  • lol are you mad? the RS is turbo'd too so it will have just as much lag so your not makin sense..i know what i am on about as i owned the old focus rs (check my page) mine was 360bhp an guess what?- id get taken by 4wd cossies, impreza's and evo's as front wheel drives just cant handle like 4wheel drives do, havent you ever wondered why they dont use front wheel drives in the wrc???the 1/4 mile on the RS is 14.3 seconds/evo fq300 13.6..nuff said! so there goes your power through the range theory

  • Its not about the lag, the torque is immense and what makes the new focus rs. Clarkson even said it'll leave his C63 AMG Black for dead in shit road conditions. I owned the old focus rs. 4WD doesn't mean shit as every reviewer has stated ford have proved you don't need 4WD. Drivers Republic put up against the Impreza and they said it was cack compared to the RS. Go pick yourself up the Top Gear mag and see what big statements Clarkson has made about the RS compared to the GT, AMG and EVO X!

  • lol you are diluded..do you believe everything you read..if so you know that clarkson slated the old rs saying it was undrivable!! how have ford proved you dont need 4wd???-if you know anything then youl know fords fastest car is a escort cossie and guess what its 4 wheel drive!!!!! your talking some rubbish mate..it only produces 260lbft of torque which compared to an evo or impreza is poor.. i just gave you the paper figures of rs's 1/4 mile of 14.3 which in honesty isnt that good..(cont)

  • Yeah i am young but have prob owned cars that people my age wish they had only because i work my arse off for what i want. And secondly the new rs produces 324ibft so i think you may need to do some read ups on the car. And its just coincidence that every reviewer of this car say that it feels like ford are lying about what wheels are being driven. Nvm, cos our garage has it on order so i'll know soon. The fact you wrote all that made me laugh!! Can't wait for people to tell you the same thing!!

  • lol its good your a hard worker and i admire that. i only write long paragraphs when something im adoment on.. i dont want the car to fail as im a long time ford enthusiast and have owned an rs cosworth, bmw m3's, civic type r's and i currently own a 400bhp impreza p1 an i obviously had the old rs but when you have pysics in place and have driven such cars you know that front wheel drives just have a limit that others dont..but i shall book a test drive wen its out and i shall be in touch, peace

  • (cont)..and yet your still trying to prove its faster then it is.. 0-60 in 5.9 is poor!! thats o.1 seconds faster then a vxr astra and that only has 240bhp!!! 0-100mph in 14 seconds!! fq300 does it in 12!! fq360 does it in 9.5!!!!! now these are facts so how can you argue with facts?and it gets alot worse on corners as if you know anything youl know front wheel drives understeer where as 4wd/rwd carry more speed gliding round corners(hence fastest cars in world are 4wheel drive)learn your facts

  • and im not so sure you owned the old focus rs otherwise youd know what you was on about and it doesnt sound like you do. you seem quite young! no offense.

  • how you know that evo was fast?
