Steroids weren't illeqal when Barry took them. There was no "3 in th key" rule when Chamberlian pulled down 55 boards... They both made a name for themselvs by doinq somethinq that was NOT illeqal at th time they did it.. Barry had an amazinq battiqn eye and impeccable plate discipline. Sure Bonds was a definite HOF'er, no doubt about it.

Ruth would have hit WELL OVER 1,000 HRs if he took what Bonds took. Hank Aaron would have had WELL OVER 1,100! You see, bonds does come close to Ruth and Aaron! Bottom line! Maris would have had over 100 HRs in a season vs Bonds 73.
