  • i see the choke chain...

  • What a load of crap. A dog only needs to hear a command once and i dont Have to say his name everytime I turn say it once in the beginning of the command. Also praise the dog up.

  • @dogguy9 when you are first teaching a dog a command it will go faster if he hears is regularly with the action. He'll associate the action with the command easier if he hears it often. Once the dog knows than you don't have to repeat it, he should just do it after one command. I agree with you about the praise though.

  • @dogguy9 If you know so much, why don't you make a video and put it online?

  • @armjoint1 Another keyboard warrior, that's why. It's so very easy to criticize over the internet, so much harder to be constructive.

  • this is merely walking nicely on a leash, not competition heel.

  • This command is so important! especially when you have little kids that run up to your dog with out any kind of supervision! This is great!

  • Don't like the choker chain

  • im not reading his book. lol

  • choke chains are not bad at all they are only bad if people don't know how to use it ...

  • @OscarBusterMissy dude do u know what a choke chain can do to a dog? maybe If u try it on yourself u should experience it. On an expert's hands or not this thing hurts the pet you say you love .

  • @pentalfakos I bet it would also hurt if you took a staple gun to your head. There is a right and a wrong way to use a tool.

  • @pentalfakos

You love your children too, doesnt mean you wont pop them in the mouth if they curse at you.

  • Is that a choke chain he is using?? Not a humane way, choke chain is bad type on google. There is a better way

  • this video is showing how to make a dog walk nicely on a leash without pulling, and not the competition heel. Some of the differences are, he is using correction based approach to teach dog no to pull. The dog is not looking at his face. he is not showing how left turns and right turns and about turns are accomplished, or how the finish is accomplished. It is best to teach the dog formal, competition style heeling with one command, and everyday walking on a leash with a different command

  • musicofnote1 have u ever walked a germen Sheppard ? a choke chain is necessary, the are extreamly strong and get excited easily a choker does not hurt them if used properly... did u see him pulling on it ... he doesnt have to the dog will lurn it can not pull just by the feeling of the chain

  • Why the f*%k are you using a choker an that dog. You certainly do not need a choker to teach or enforce a heel. Cruel and abusive!!

  • @musicofnote1 HAH, no Cruel is: starving a dog, beating, hitting.... he is training his dog. To each his own. YOU post a video that we can critique.

  • Expert Village videos are the worst. Is that really how you teach a dog to heel? I dont think so, maybe you should try showing from the beginning so that I could actually learn something.

  • no one disease is not healthy!

  • another idiot from expert village...didn't anyone from that village know how to raise a child

  • @kpg182

I don't think all trainers from expert village are idiots. I would personally use better words that 'idiots' anyways, especially when the only quarrel I have with them is disagreeing with their methods. I think some of their trainers are quite good though, and some are not all that good.

  • Why the hell is he shouting his name?! poor dog...

  • Right is easy but what about left turns?

  • @RoscoeT99 No kidding. Check out my videos, I have a heeling video with LEFT TURNS, RIGHT TURNS, stops.... a dog can do it all within 2 lessons.
